Go to a Korean post office, and they can make you a custom box for your random stuff for cheap. BAM!
Thanks to B1A4 Chile for the Spanish subs! Woot!

This is still one of my favourite EYK videos.
HOLY!!! WHAT??! WH--WHA--------WHAT?????? HE JUST. CUT A STRAIGHT LINE. HE CUT. A STRAIGHT LINE. I guess the cardboard kinda keeps your blade kinda straight but that's some serious skills, and he's doing this while talking??? (or was it another person talking) Either way it's amazing I can't even... wow.
koukounut Trust me, the cardboard does not keep the blade straight. .__. I had to cut a lot of types of boards in art school & aaallways had to measure like 5 times before finally cutting using a ruler, cuz I can't cut a straight line. LOL. This guy... has skills o_o
+koukounut Illuminati confirmed!
who saying is another person
I still come back and watch this video every once in awhile.
This is probably my favorite video on CZcams. I keep coming back to it.
I love how the sound effects have subs too 😂
Still one of my favorite videos on CZcams. So fascinating to watch.
I have never been so impressed by someone cutting cardboard. When he just spitball shot a straight line across the board to cutout the piece to use for the box my jaw was instantly agape.
Since we didn't get to see his face, please tell me that he is a grey haired , long bearded, wrapping master , that lived isolated on a mountain for years, practicing the ancient art of box wrapping. THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME!
Judging by the voice, He's young man, and also talking with another customer while making the box.
2016 and I'm still intrigued by this video
HOW DOES HE DRAW A STRAIGHT LINE
Not OP, but one thing I learned in engineering drafting, was if you are trying to draw a freehand line, look to the endpoint and pull the pencil there, don't concentrate on where the pencil is now. I imagine the same works for a boxcutter on cardboard.
+NyanPop it goes with the grain. So once you slice it, the grain takes it all the way to the other side in a straight line.
*+TheRoyalHam* then explain the two straight diagonal line at 1:18 xD
@@TheHiroyukiutatane its beginner luck..
Actually I play this video a few times a day, I use it to relax
I don't know if it's the sound of him working, or actually watching him assemble the box or just him speaking korean but it relaxes me, until Simon replies ok and I get out of my trance.
I think it has to do with actual concentration in the work because the other one I use to relax is a chinese tea ceremony video. Thank you Simon for a video that de-streses me from daily activities :)
How in the world does he cut so straight and even LOL
he cuts the box so fucking straight... wtf
This is what becomes of ninjas in the modern age. They live average lives with extraordinary skills.
My mouth was open during the majority of this video. I was in awe at the amazing precision and skill this seemingly ordinary postman possesses.
Did anyone read the subtitles for this? was giggling all the way through
hahaha I had to watch it again with subtitles. favorite part "more Korean talk about... pigeons?"
*something Korean, don't know*
One older customer was accusing the wrapper guy about the missing goods. The wrapper guy says if you have left the goods near my watch then I'll definitely have it stored in the safe keeping, since it's not there that means you must have left it somewhere else. Then the older man complains about it over and over about 3 times, only to get the same answer.
Dat subtitles though. Simon, you should make subs for Korean dramas; I think they'll be box office material. xD
How did I miss this video?? It's awesome! :)
Watching someone make a box has never been this entertaining.
such an ASMR material video ~~ no wonder why watching a video of making boxes is strangely nice O__O
I have always wondered why the boxes I get from Korea are so strange looking!! Now I know why!! Wow, that is really cool!
Come to Korea, where you learn boss boxing skills
So with just a ruler, tape and box knife you can make a custom box?
Holy crap!
I swear, my mouth and eyes were wide open, and like i didn't move a muscle for 2:31 minutes.
this is by far THE MOST FASCINATING, INCREDIBLE VIDEO I HAVE EVER WATCHED IN MY LIFE. thank you man, you guys just made my day!
I can't even draw a straight line with a Ruler
+Emy Valentine lol
. . . I was completely mesmerized
My face went :O when watching this. That man's hands were super fast and skillful. Never once in my life would have thought a plain carton box could be that beautiful.

You have no idea how many times ive come back to watch this video since it came out. This amazing boxing skill is so satisfying to watch. 😍
Wow! Thanks for sharing! I watched the video because I genuinely wanted to make a box (that I still have to do). Wasn't expecting that level of awesomeness, and even if it wasn't the video I needed I kept watching it. It was interesting.
Omg that is so awesome!!!
Whenever I buy stuff from korea online I am always amazed about how they package all the items so well.
DAAAAAMMMNNN!!!! got some cyborg-mutant hands & arms there!! it's calculating the area and dimension perfectly!! Fuuuuuu

Should that box later be handled by USPS, it will arrive at its destination resembling and quite possibly smelling like a half digested burrito.....
I would so sit there and watch that guy make boxes all day.
HES FLIPPIN AWESOME.
I can replay this the whole day and not get tired of it
Hm i didn't know people did this... Thanks Simon and Martina for making this! It was interesting :3
Like a box.
I could watch this guy makes boxes for hours.
this is so cool, is it at all post offices? I want to send stuff home and this is amazing!
I can't even place my ruler straight. Wtf?
Clone him.....
I'll bet these guys wrap Christmas gifts like pros

Who knew watching a box being made could be so entertaining.

+Esther Cotton boxing is indead entertaining... you are so silly.
simonandmartinabonus Copied from +Grace Lung "hey simon & martina...your vid is making its rounds on FB....under 'World's Most Extreme Videos' ...i looks like its been re-uploaded, might like to report it
facebook.com/photo.php?v=1375170289394937 " I agree with her.
When I clicked on the link, it said that the link was either expired, unavailable, and something else, I just can't remember.....
Hi
where did you find this size cardboard?
i am living in London and i couldn't find cardboard for making custom box.
omg this is so cool! and the lines he make are like, so straight to precise too! O.O
so fast and yet so amazing!!
and that was what she said
HES MAKING BOXES AND WEARING SOME SORT OF FORMAL JACKET WHAT WHAT ???!??!?!
What camera/lens/effect are you using on this? Mad skillz!
Gift wrapping/ boxing presents during Christmas time must be a breeze for him!
Like a Bawws
that was pretty impressive. I never expected making boxes to be that technical in skills!
As an aspiring package designer, this video makes me so unbelievably happy. :')
that was a fascinating process
He must be the best Christmas present wrapper ever!!
OMG that was awesome!!!!
The perfectly straight lines o.o
I can't even cut straight with a guide/ruler.
..IDKY, but there was just something attractive about the box making. It was just to cool.
Just watched a guy make a box and I couldn't be more entertained. And now when your kids ask "Mommy where do boxes come from?" you can just show them this.
So awesome! Wished they had that here in NYC!
This service is really common in many post offices in Korea.
You just take whatever you want for shipping and they do that for you.
that's so cool xD
and I like the subtitled sound effects! lol
That is so cool! And I find it to be very soothing... I guess cause it reminds me of my mom and how precise she is with her work. Great video! :-D
He does it so well it's almost like, he does it for a living.
I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO AMAIZED IN MY LIFE...AND OVER MAKING A BOX O-O!!
THAT WAS SO COOL!!!!! In the U.S. we only have pre made boxes.
Every noise in this video is extremely satisfying... Especially when he cuts through the cardboard... Not weird or anything...
Looking forward to reading the NYT style piece on bespoke boxes
sugoi!!! My mouth is literally open the whole time, amazing!
Wow, that was surprisingly amazing
OMG WOW! i used to think boxes are boring but the process of making it like that is totally interesting!
That's some slick box making!
OMG that was soo cool. I'm so jealous. Never thought that making boxes were so interesting till now.
He is cutting with the grain on the cuts where he doesn't use the ruler - once you're practised with applying the right amount of pressure and correcting the blade direction with muscle memory, the corrugations of the cardboard help guide the blade.
That's so cool!! and he can make it so it fits the size of the package!!
thats the most beautiful box ive seen in my entire life
Korea is so amazing, even a video about making a box is mind blowing.
OMGosh! The captions! That's great!
i never though i would be so fascinated watching a guy make a box ...... lol and he did it so neat.
OMG! I just learned the easiest way to do a BOX!!! Thank you Simon and Martina :D And it just happens that I have to send something and can't find the right size box, you have given me an idea O.O
BTW, how long does it take for mail to get to Korea or Japan all the way from America?
That was actually incredible.
That guy deserves a freaking raise.
loving the captions!
the way he made those straight lines hypnotized me.
I was mesmerized by this video. I could not look away. It was somehow very....enthralling.
The subtitles for this are fantastic.
Why is this so awesome?! I just want to make boxes for everything now
These are the greatest subtitles ever.
That was so fast and efficient!
Wowzers that was effortless!!
I never thought I would be this fascinated by a box being made. :D
WOW. I've never been so amazed at watching someone make a box! He's super ninja with that box! If i did that it wouldn't even take me a day to get the measurements & it's still be boxed wrong.
