The new Good Times animation was extremely offensive and insulting to Black people, lacking any form of humor. It wasn't dark or dry humor; it was just a series of outdated and offensive stereotypes. Scenes depicted included singing with a cockroach in the shower, a baby dealing drugs and toting guns, flies buzzing around characters' heads, and a little girl sleeping on a park bench for days without a bath, with the heat turned off. One would expect an update to improve upon the original show, but this iteration failed to deliver. I didn't find it funny at all and don't plan on watching any more of it. Too bad because I was excited to watch it.
