  • In technical presentations, we’re tempted to provide a lot of detail to inform others about what we know. However, remember this: the more you say, the more potential areas of confusion there are. In this video I show how, by speaking concisely, you can instead make your point quickly clear and enhance your authority.

    About Me:
I’m Christopher Chin, and I help tech professionals become confident speakers and leaders.
    Does this sound familiar:
    - You put together slide decks but your audience doesn’t react well to them?
    - You’re great at researching, coding, and analyzing. But don’t know where to start with speaking up in meetings and giving presentations?
    - You’ve been stuck in your career, unable to get the promotions you deserve, because your managers say you need to work on communication skills?
The truth is communication, presentation, and storytelling are not “soft skills”. They are extremely hard to master yet crucial for success in business and leadership.
I created this CZcams channel and my Hidden Speaker training programs to address exactly those challenges. This is not just any communication course. This is communication for tech professionals by a tech professional. If you're looking for self-paced content to overcome anxiety, speak with confidence, and know how to structure a killer presentation, you’ve come to the right place.

Your communication is much more effective if you're concise. If you give a lot of detail and you ramble and you... and you go all over the place, there are so many areas of potential confusion. But if you keep it concise to one story-line and you just end after you made your point clear, that will feel impactful. It will make people listen to you and they will say, "Oh you really do know your stuff." You don't need to give all this detail to justify your expertise. Just by the way you communicate you can make people believe in you

My goal in each video is definitely to reduce unnecessary filler as much as possible!

Nicely presented. Although this seems to be more why you should but not how. Hope you can cover that!

Absolutely! This is a video I put together on one of my favorite frameworks for concise speaking: czcams.com/video/uKg1lrzy8Ps/video.html&ab_channel=TheHiddenSpeaker
