- Roger Daltrey flying solo for a show at OLG Stage, Fallsview Casino in Niagara on June 14, 2024.
Considering my seats were at the top level of the theatre, the view was still decent. Can’t complain about comp’t tickets. Great show! Lots of hits from The Who and dome of Rogers solo efforts as well as a CCR tune. Great, somewhat laid back versions but very enjoyable and Roger’s banter with the audience and anecdotes between songs were fun and helpful you feel a bit more attached to the songs. His voice was still sounding pretty damn good afternoon all these years and with him clearly having fun, it made for a very entertaining show.
In case you’re wondering, the small white papers around Roger’s feet were questions he had been answering throughout and the fellow on guitar to his right (left on screen) is Simon Townsend (Pete’s brother).
My apologies for marginal video quality at times. I record these on my iPhone and in low light or when zoomed in, it’s sometimes hard to get it to focus properly.
