- For the first time since last winter, I did a great camp during a snowfall. The air temperature was around -10 °C. Along with the FireHiking wood stove, I also tried my new FireHiking Leva hot tent. While watching this video, I hope you will enjoy the winter season and snowfall as I do!

I grew up here when Michigan winters were the real deal. This looks like heaven to me.
So did I. My brother and I used to dig tunnels in the snow in out back yard. Used to get deep snow back in the 50's and 60's
I am from the US in PA and I can't even tell you how thankful as older this Video was. I learned tons as thru it I was screaming at the screen...WHY ARE YOU NOT GETTING YOUR TENT WARM...Am I capable of doing all you did? NO , but I learned I am not as prepared as I thought. Thank you for the tips, though I do not have your setup with the Expensive tent or a Hot Stove, but I learned just in case. May you be with Jesus and on the good side of God and if not, Thank you I was sent here for a reason.

I live in West Michigan near Lake Michigan. I have just discovered the camping in winter series from different folks, and I must say, I give you all kinds of credit. I am more of a glamping girl than a roughing it girl. I have tremendous respect for those of you who do this type of camping and I live vicariously through you all. Take care of yourself and thank you for sharing your experience with us.

I started small stuff. Bushcraft a tarp and boil water make coffee. Working 3rd shift getting off 7am
Set up camp basically anywhere. Even corner of Home Depot parking lot lol fresh coffee and sun rise 🌄

You would do good with a pop-up camper which is light enough for front wheel drive vehicles. Put 1200w solar on the roof for refrigerator and 800w air conditioner.

I think you do amazing job of getting your tent .fire going etc. Mom nature sure can make beautiful things cant she ? I watch a solo tenter gal do her tent with her poodle for one night and she had nexflix with her ! Im surprised by that but if it gets more people connected to the woods so be it .im glad i found you.

Sehr schönes Video mein Freund. Wenn Du es im Zelt schneller warm haben möchtest, die Scheiben vom Ofen müssen sauber sein, dann reflektiert die Strahlung nach außen besser und Du hast es wärmer im Zelt. Herzlichen Gruß aus Frankfurt.
Vielen Dank für Ihren Kommentar und Vorschlag. Da kein trockenes Holz vorhanden ist, werden die Scheiben des Backofens nach kurzer Zeit wieder schmutzig. Frankfurt ist ein schöner Ort.

Campers melt snow the wrong way. If you put just a little over the flame it will melt quickly an it's easier and faster to just add more snow to the existing water. Filling it is slower and produces less because snow is rareified ice, there's a lot of air.
You are right. I learned this for the first time in my childhood by trying it myself. However, since I was not in a position to wait for a long time to melt the snow, I melted it by adding a little bit of it later. Thank you very much for this useful information and watching my video.

Üstâdım emeğine sağlık, geçen sene kışın çok izlemiştim seni, bu sene de İstanbula yeni kar yağdı aklıma yeni geldin, bu seneki ilk izleyişim.. Arabayı kamp kurdun yere daha yakın parketsen senin için daha kolay olmaz mı? Ayrıca akşam dışarda yaktığın ateş boşa gitti gibi oldu, onun yerine sadece kampın içinde ateşi yakıp, pişirdiğin yemek & içecekle sunum yapsaydın daha hoş olurdu. Görseller manzaralar çok güzel ama gözleri baca dumanını da aradı
Bu defa böyle oldu. Çadırda kapalı kalmak yerine dışarıda vakit geçirmek daha cazip geldi. Arabaya yakın yerler ayak altı olduğu için daha uzak yürüme mesafesi yerleri tercih ediyorum. Ha bir de araba yakın olunca ‘arabada yatmış’ diyorlar :) Yorum ve beğeni için çok teşekkür ederim.
