I went to the Florida Panthers @ Colorado Avalanche game at Ball Arena tonight and stuck around for a season ticket holder skating event. We were all told to to go to section 108 so there were about 150 of us packed in there. My buddy and I were sitting waiting slightly higher in the section than everyone else and ~10 minutes after the game was over, an usher came up to us and tried to kick us out. I had to almost laugh because it was so obvious we were all there for a specific reason, given the rest of the entire arena had cleared out by then. I told her "we're exactly where we're meant to be right now" and gestured down towards everyone else. She walked away without saying much, I think she was embarrassed. Anyway, tonight reminded me of this recommended video so I figured I'd share my anecdote.
I tried this at American Airlines Center in Dallas and the staff got so rude so fast, and I had only been there for like two minutes.
