- There are quite a few organic textures here that create an immersive experience, especially when listening on headphones. You'll also probably notice a lot of weird and creepy sound effects as well.
A few words from the author: I dedicated this channel to the dark and dystopian side of ambient music. Here you will find such moods of ambient music as cinematic ambient music, dark ambient music, meditative ambient music, cyberpunk ambient music, sci-fi ambient music, futuristic ambient music. Most often in my compositions I use rain sounds, hypontic drones, deep soundscapes, and various synthesized sound effects. You can use my music as ambient music for sleep, ambient music for meditation, ambient music for reading, ambient music for studying and ambient music for work.

A meteorite crashed here 2 years ago. They quarantined the area and built this facility. They said it was for scientific study. There's rumors the wildlife here is abnormally large.

The stern face of the weather-worn statue of Lenin glared down at him as he approached, the heavy rain masking his careful footsteps. His Geiger counter was nearly silent, only the occasional click sounding off from its speaker, and he slipped it into a vest pouch as he walked beneath the building's vine-covered white concrete overhang, approaching the entrance, listening intently- no voices, no growls or snarls, no footfalls.
The rumors, quietly spoken aboard the _Skadovsk,_ had proven true. Some long-forgotten administration building had been discovered by an explorer, one who had bolted at the sight, later claiming that the building felt "cursed" and that the red light shining above its doors was the ghastly eye of some monster as yet unknown to the Zone. Superstitious nonsense to one who understood the Zone's ways.
The roar of the rain became a dull thrum as he entered the building, his flashlight playing across dust-covered floors and furniture, the interior remarkably intact. Good- it meant that mutants hadn't made it a nest, and other Stalkers had probably yet to thoroughly explore the place. Still, something itched at the back of his mind as he crept about, checking desks and cabinets, until he came upon what looked like an administrator's office. Paydirt! An object he'd never seen the likes of before hovered an arm's length above the stately oak desk, glowing softly, resembling two entwined rings of silver the width of his hand. Quickly he withdrew a lead-lined container from his backpack, closing it around the artifact, then returned the container to the bag.
It was when he turned to leave the office that he realized- at some point the sounds of the storm had gone silent, much more quickly than should have been possible. The worry worming into his mind crystallized- why would a building have laid open for so long with none of the Zone's wildlife settling inside? Fear gripped his heart as he bolted back the way he came, boots clomping against the faded rug, only to skid to a stop as he came to the entrance.
Only white concrete met his gaze. The entrance had vanished.
This is really good! Are you a writer? If not, you should think about it - there is definintely some talent there.
Allow me to ask for a second part please - I am dying how the story continues.

Many bunkers had been left vacant since The Incident. No one had counted the weeks or years, but all remaining supplies were gone. All resources were stripped and the place was barren save for the backup power supply. Rumors suggest that these bunkers were here before the Incident too, but not long before. No evidence remained of what was done here. Only the rumors. It was best not to stick around these places. If they weren't infested with dangerous creatures, they were booby trapped to ensure you'd alert one before you left.
"One of the only safe zones away from the mass hordes of the "changed", previously just an old and abandoned warehouse, turned into a fortified safe-house.
Its best not to stay for too long, who knows what could happen once night falls."
Too far into the woods and too far away from any trace of civilization, no one was expected nor supposed to venture around here. The poor souls who got lost enough to see the red light at the entrance should have trusted their instincts and turned around, but their desperation betrayed them for the last time. Except for a select few of those souls, who possessed some inscrutable characteristic and were let in without question.
What they were shown and told inside made them wish they were just shot to death instead. However, their still long lives were no longer destined to see the forest outside ever again. Too bad!

Darkness is a weapon. Plants fear where certainty has been. Raises walls far harder to pass. Poises challenge not all dare to undertake. Imposes vision a few see through.
We may need light to see, but we need darkness to feel. Darkness -- a window to our soul.

you get a very bad feeling about it as you feel like someone or something is
watching you from inside so you go on
your way and don't look back but have your guns ready in case you have to use it on whoever or whatever is in there

Ugh I hate having to go on patrol in the Exclusion Zones never know what kind of nasty things that roam within Skulkers aren't much of a problem they usually run at the sight of humans but the Rippers their extremely vicious I'm glad there's a couple of Burners in the team still I'd rather be be back at the Shelter on Waste Disposal Matinance duty than this

darkness falls unto us all. most scurry away, pursuing the dwindling light. however, there’s few who choose not to run in fear, but accept that darkness. those few gain an understanding of the armor it gives, the resilience it instills & the ferociousness it breeds. don’t dance within it, to do so would be to celebrate it as it is.. just. darkness. allow nature to take its course w/ a dim of light within reach. these elements will go to war. destruction will come. the carnage is inevitable, all in pursuit of domination.. but, eventually even these elements understand that one cannot exist w/o the other. the light is giving; it allows understanding, compassion, empathy & love.. but to possess only these traits leaves the barer of such qualities w/ no protection. no strategies or tactics for self-preservation. perfect recipe to be left w/ nothing, drained by a world that works vigorously to ensure you will die w/ nothing. so, accept the darkness. not for what it solely is, but for what it contributes when perfect balance is achieved. like ying & yang. such an accomplishment can only be reached by walking a path of no return. for once you accept darkness w/o the light, there is no hope. there is no faith. no lifeline to pull you back when you’ve strayed too far. there is only nothing. accept the strengths & weaknesses of both elements & most importantly: do. not. attach the imperfections of humanity to either.. or you shall be forever lost. tread carefully & cautiously to find your perfect balance of love & ferocity. safe journey, fellow vibers.
