      Don't just stay in Prague. Visit the whole country, Prague is overpriced and overrated. We've got so many lovely castles in here and other towns that are just as beautiful as Prague, but not overcrowded by tourists and overpriced

    This was one of the cosiest games I played. I hope you'll come back to it one day, as I'd enjoy a video of Prague at night but inside all the apartments and rooftop verandas. I particularly remember one high apartment drowned in neon with the TV on and a seated area with people outside. That was where I fell asleep haha.

    Dear Gaming Ambience, I have discovered your videos a few months ago during my studies and thesis writing and I am happy to say that your channel quickly became one of my favourites!!! Your works are awesome, there are many published versions but yours are perfect for long work/study sessions. I am so happy that you publish rare or difficult to find ambience/music videos from my favourite series - Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Deus Ex. Every day I am looking forward your videos, they are absolutely wonderful!!! Please, keep up the good work :D
    Also, if I may ask, will you please consider 1 Hour of Winter Palace Exploration and Winter Palace Ballroom ambience/music (Dragon Age Inquisition)? Have a great day :)

      I abruptly stopped doing DA:I videos because the tool I used for it broke. There was a WIP version put out but I haven't attempted to play it recently because I got a bit too invested doing other games. I am not entirely sure when I'll get back to making DA:I vids but hopefully it won't be too long.
      I always love reading comments from people who use them at work or while studying, it definitely makes creating these videos is a lot more fun knowing they have more use than just nostalgia :)

    These Mankind Divided videos are really good stuff, thank you.
    My personal favourites that I would like to see are these three, but with a twist:
    1. Prague Sewer ambient ... not just the normal ambient music but if you could manage to record like half of the normal ambient music in the sewers, and at the 30 minute mark crank it up with a tense version of the music, when you are close to sneaking up to enemies (see this video to know what I mean, it starts fast, halfway it is the normal ambient and then starts mixing the ambient version and the combat tunes czcams.com/video/2YdRvfjWYqE/video.html), as the normal ambient version is looping just this (example here: czcams.com/video/XqryasRIu-k/video.html), which is also excellent piece of music.
    2. Otar Debate. Not just the full version (see here czcams.com/video/eu7CSBj-T2M/video.html), but with a twist: Slow up the different parts of the song. The video linked has 3 different parts; 0-3 min, 3-6min, 6-10min. So an extended version could be like 20 minutes each "part" of the song, if you understand what I mean.
    3. Allison Debate. Not just the full version (see here czcams.com/video/HXOc6cAhGlk/video.html), but with the same kind of set up as the Otar debate version; 0-4 minutes, 4-8 minutes and 8-12 minutes are each different parts of the song. Extended version could be similar 20 minutes each part of the song.
    Not expecting these, but wanted to share my thougths. Thank you for your efforts!

      @GamingAmbience  Před 5 lety +2

      I appreciate the long reply. I have thought about doing this when I started doing Human Revolution, I just never thought anyone would want this considering the ambient songs are what people have always requested. However, I may try it with your requests, if it isn't too time consuming I may start doing it for all future Deus Ex videos as well as put out my regular ambient versions, too.

    • @thomastsoukaris6890
      @thomastsoukaris6890 Před 4 lety +11

      Zofie Ruzicka's presidency in the DX timeline (2018-2027) and its impact on the Czech Republic's economy and culture could explain this, given that her pro-big business policies attracted many corporations and by proxy their employees, prospective or pre-existing, to the country. 9 years is a long time, in which I would (admittedly optimistically) say that most could probably learn to speak Czech without a heavy accent. Also big hub cities like Prague are far more diverse population-wise than other cities in the Czech Republic irl, for obvious reasons. For instance, the UK is staggeringly white overall, but London is massively ethnically and culturally diverse, at least by comparison. Oh, and if you find yourself getting annoyed by diversity in a FICTIONALISED city in a video game where the antagonists are the Illuminati, you may need to re-assess your sensitivities and biases. There are more pressing issues 😂

      I usually hate forced and politically driven diversity (like black soldiers for the German Imperial army in bf1) but in this case it makes sense. First it's Prague, the city is already famous and has some non-European immigrants there already, second it's an ultra-capitalist country in the game hence open-border immigration. This reflects real life immigration policy of the neo-liberals and neo-conservatives during the economic miracles in the west where they simply wanted more labour. Today this open-border policy is not just safeguarded by the neo-liberals but even the initially anti-immigrant social-democrats are rooting for it (I'm guessing they have been infiltrated because hey are also heavily pro-corporation these days as well).
      It fits with the setting of an elite controlling everyone else, it fits also with the polarization of society following new lines. Much like how people are willing to cut out perfectly functioning limbs for their short-term benefit, open-borders is throwing away your own demographics and culture just because it's short-term beneficial.

      @@overlord165 The word I used was "native." If they spoke with American accents like the black and white people in Shanghai in Deus Ex: HR I would have had no problem with it. Is Prague really diverse? I was under the impression the Czech Republic was still really homogeneous.
