I wish there would have been someone like you when I was younger that could have influenced me to keep my head up. I played baseball my whole life and while I never thought I'd ever play college ball or go pro, I was just excited at the idea of playing high school ball, but I was cut from the team my freshman year and instead of using that as motivation to get better and work harder, it killed my self esteem and I never played again. That was almost 20 years ago and I still get so mad at myself for giving up on my passion that easily. Good for you for staying positive and sticking to your goal no matter where it took you.
