This is a video of me performing one of my favorite songs that made me to the top 3 finalists, out of 44 participants in a singing competition.
It is my first time again in a long time to join a solo singing competition. Joining solo competition is out of my comfort zone. I was a member of choir for years that is why i’m not used to performing solo. My anxiety always attacks whenever the attention is on me. I am a very shy person and I’m not comfortable being recognized and exposed to people.
I was actually a bit hesitant at first, but my teammates encouraged me to join and i’m very glad i did because i was able to represent our department and win as the 1st placer out of all the 44 participants.
I guess this experience is now one of this year’s highlights. I am beyond grateful that God has given me this amazing talent and i am very glad that i was given a chance to showcase it.
I am not a perfect singer and i know that my talent is not flawless but i hope this performance was able to capture your hearts. Thank you for watching!
