the Olight Javalot/Warrior X series of thrower lights are IMHO the best on the market. They do everything you should want in a thrower (wehter for search/rescue or LE/military/defense sue) better than everyone else....great defined hotspot/spill circles which you should want....and they don't try selling their lights with needless accessories and LED displays (e.g. Nitecore)....of course when buying most Olight products...wait for the sales. :) Especialy when buying expensive thrwers.
There a good light till u start using them on duty mine didn’t make it 6 months before the circuit blew won’t come on I got a another one and the same thing but it quit working within 3 months, my surefire is still going after 8 years, take it for what’s it worth
Glad someone said it. Both flashlights are fantastic but get hot really quick. To a point where you can barely hold it and one must wonder whether it's actually good for the light.
Well Ozzie it was when you did the Warrior Turbo review is when I got into Olight, since then I've bought about 10 Olight products & to be honest am happy with basically all of them. What I'd like to know given Ozzie has both types of Javelot's fully charged and ready to go on his farm, which ONE would he pick up and walk to the ute with?
Regarding the heat, it's bizarre they didn't design the side of the front housing with high surface area cooling fins like a radiator for maximal convection cooling.
Another informative review Ozzie. I know they generate income but the bloody ads halfway through are freakin annoying, especially when the review then freezes on the circle of death...
I have the green and red filters for my pro, Can you tell me if the turbo has the same size head? That way I can use the filters for both lights. Thanks
And? the battery requirements, or charging? if rechargable are they replace-able? also? easy to source ?an size? Lithium batteries are $$ if they fail. Also whats in the Box, any Mounting options, Chargers, lens Filters etc? Thanks!
