All the way from Nigeria. I will be rooting for Omanyala and Simbine for the 100m title. Please bring it home for Africa. Our hopes and prayers are with you
Thanks..from a Kenyan.
Include Oseme too from CAmeroon. He's quite good.
Tebogo?
You are dreaming to cop that title they have to click faster time than that, 9:80 is good for 3rd place
Is this the combination of the African championship and Olympics games qualification, we had the European championship a few days ago , but it was not a Olympics qualifying or was this a athletics meeting
@@redd605 Kenya's Olympic qualifications but other countries ran too. I don't get that part. I'm not Kenyan so maybe someone can explain.
As an American, I've been waiting for my pure, African brothers to show up and make a dent in this sport. Take it all or make us compete! I love it.
We blacks elsewhere are truly representing Africa and black greatness everywhere we go. For we blacks to be the best in the world, despite representing other countries, already shows our people and the people of Africa are the best globally, even when we do give others the opportunity to train with and learn from us. This is simply an area where we are genetically blessed.
Genetically is about the primary proportion DNA majority that determines what ethnic group of person belongs to. Europeans another asiatics are 3rd string mutations from Africans however are no longer Africans. The African diaspora are native Africans are the overall same category group.
If you're supporting blacks, I suppose I should support any white brother out there. Go the whites!
Beautiful comment
yes, "pure"....not these diluted blacks we see masquerading as black...lol
Omanyala flinched at the starting line right before the gun went off. He wouldn't get away with that in the Olympics. Still he did run extremely fast.
Yeah, someone flinched in the lower-numbered lanes. I'm surprised they weren't called back. Should've been a warning, at minimum.
Omanyala is a world class sprinter, unlike his competitors here, 9.80, he can get an Olympic medal, definitely has an outside chance
Running 9.80 has a high chance of getting the Olympic gold. But again, you have to go to a foreign place, the jet lag, the weather, the race schedule, and also they have to go through multiple rounds.
@@desmondyung yeah, an outside chance definitely
@desmondyung he doesn't do well outside Africa. But maybe France will be better. It's not as far away.
@@kpat3052as far away as what
@ngweso As the US where he hasn't run very well.
My African brothers and sisters we have been coming from far ❤
Omanyala will win the Olympic 100m lets go champ
Omanyala is one of the most humble sprinters i know of. He's the 'N'golo Kante' of sprinting. Let's go Africa!
He is well relaxed and composed at home. If only he can mirror that while under pressure, then he can still be very competitive when it matters most.
Omanyala seems to do his best running in KENYA.
Too bad the Olympics are in Paris huh
Trains there mostly, so it makes sense
Also Does better in other small countries like Latvia and the likes😢
@@kingpabro 9.79 is 9.79 bro - tell your favorite athletes to go get it wherever they can. If there are significant undue advantages, you know the IAAF does not shy in taking action. Far as I can remember, Nairobi is a sanctioned track and the times stand as they are recorded, which is why his time from 2021 was ratified as-is. Omanyala needs to work on his psyche when under pressure, but that should not take away from any fast times he runs, including this.
Please Omanyala, do not let the world down at Paris... It's time for an African Olympic 100m champion. 🥇
I don’t know how to tell you this but there’s no way this guy beats Coleman,Lyles and Seville in 100m lol
He is all hogwash! He chokes when he meets the Americans.
@@TobyFromGT He will not! Tebogo is the man, not Omanyala. He cannot run under pressure, and he chokes. He only runs these times in Kenya.
This video Is of today's final @@TobyFromGT
@@yawos9024 true
Just watched the US ,100m Olympics trials ,and the winner was Noah Lyles with 9.82
Our own Omanyala had 9.80
How I wish this becomes reality in Olympics.
Omanyala,all the best💪
Omanyala looks very good. He’s being smart this year to make sure he doesn’t peak too early. I think that is what has hampered him in the past. This was a race worth running fast. Now his focus can go back on Paris. Looks like there is no clear favourite in the 100 m right now. Possible that all three medals could go to non-Americans or possible that all 3 go to Americans.
I don’t even know who’s gonna win the Olympics anymore
tbh since 2019 we can never tell.
Cause every championship theres a new champion.
2019- coleman
2021- Jacob’s
2022- Fred
2023- Lyle’s
2024???
bolt
Tebogo
@@ShahYT.Official his mum past away recently maybe lost competitive state
Noah Lyles or Bednereck. Omanyala may medal.
Congrants to Omnanyala. I hope he does well in the Olympics.
You just have to like this guy. His smile bro makes me want him to win
Ferdinand was practically flying throughout the race .
I hope he can replicate this form during the Olympics.
Congratulations Omanyala. It's also nice to see Mark doing well by finishing second behind Africa's fastest sprinter.
Awesome event, the commentator is a legend, he should be on the main feed for Paris!!
He never shows up.when it matters... Only in Africa he thrives
@@BLackPEsa777 It's more psychological than anything else. I'm pretty sure him and his coach have been doing some work on that side of things, because let's face it if he is running times like this, faster than Nyles and Co. surely he should be a strong favorite for Gold. Last Olympics he was unlucky arriving just a day before the heats - issues to do with the flight, but still made it to the semis. Hes one of those who have a realistic chance of taking it.
Noah Lyles will win Gold in 100m, 200, 4*100 relay
Nobody is beating Akani Simbine in the 2024 Paris Olympics 100m final.
In your dreams, not even a medal for him. 200 metres Tebogo wins and 4x100 italy again
I dont think so
I hope he won't freeze on the works stage. He is like a jogoo ya nyumbaniamvayo haiwiki mjini
Omanyala... Congratulations 👏
9.79 + 0.09 for the wind + 0.04 for the massive altitude this is at, and you get 9.92. he ran 9.98 at Eugene 3 weeks ago with +1.2. Eugene is at sea level. I'd say he's running at about 9.92 pace, which is way off what Oblique Seville did 2 weeks ago. Sprinting is massively affected by conditions. You cant ignore them.
9.80 is at HIGH ALTITUDE take that into account
Altitude is irrelevant I think, they don't use an ounce of oxygen, only free ATP and phosphocreatine systems are at work for the 100m
@@0Sebek0 Not the point, higher altitude means less air resistance so definitely relevant
@@0Sebek0 Yes it does make a difference. Kinda like wind at your back, but in this case less resistance...
Indeed
@@0Sebek0less air resistance buddy
Omanyala stays running world leads in High Altitudes but hey whatever boosts this mans confidence for the Olympics
No one stops others from coming to set PBs here
He should run the 200m
He is so rapid
Him and tebogo one of them i will be rooting for him
I really hope he wins gold or at least a medal in the olympics. I have seen many critic him for running fast at high altitudes. Maybe he could consider taking the rest of his trainings before the Olympics at a stadium in Mombasa which is lower in elevation?
This time ( altitude + wind ) in Paris is not plus that 9,95/9,97.
Omanyala takes this time only in Kenya.
maybe 9.90 the altitude and winds couldnt influence that much
Good job!!
Always rooting for Tebogo, Simbine and Omanyala... but something fishy about Nairobe. Last week, no where against Seville and Lyles and here 9.79. Same as Bromell and Omanyala losing a lot of (Diamondleague) races and end of the season 9.76 and 9.77. So Bolt would run a 9.43 in Nairobe.
Looks well in form suddenly hmmmm haven’t seen him that comfortable before.
If Noah Lyle’s had a start like asafa Powell or Christian Coleman then we know for sure it would be Noah Lyle’s for 100 meter title for olympics
Noah or Coleman runs in this race on that day in that altitude, we are probably looking at a 9.68 or lower
@@tom11zz884 the start for Noah is key, then we can see 9.6 or better
I would agree yala is world classe!!!
Gold medal incoming for Kenya
Very good 👍
The trouble is that Omanyala never replicates this kind of performance internationally. I wonder whether he can perform like that at just above sea level in Paris?
Hope for best
Gooo.
Not too long ago, Omanyala and Otieno were consistently close in races, with their times neck and neck. However, today, there's a noticeable gap between them. Omanyala has surged ahead with impressive times, while Otieno seems to have hit a different stride in his journey.
What does this contrast mean? It shows how dedicated training can transform athletic performance. Omanyala's remarkable progress, improving his personal best from 10.4 seconds to an impressive 9.7 seconds, proves that even small gains in speed can lead to significant improvements with the right guidance and training routine.
His time looks suspect. He hasn't run under 10 seconds this year and all of a sudden boom 9.79secs, let's be real here. If you look closely, he even jumped the gun which should have been called a forced start. Don’t let us deceive ourselves.
@@addnel2000
False start.
Congratulations omumyala
Anybody but Noah Lyles. Mr World Champion 😂😂
I hope he can replicate it at the Olympics. Away from home he's around 10s
I really wish they had an Olympics there, especially with performers like ShaCarri, Christian Coleman, Noah, Shericka, Elaine, etc. Can you all imagine the times people would run on this track after they properly peaked?!? Wow
I know Shelly was somewhere in Africa when she started running those 10.6s back in 2022. It's known to allow for faster times. The trick is to replicate the times elsewhere which she was able to do. Omanyala struggles.
@@kpat3052 yup! The air is thinner at this altitude, so it is almost the same as running with a big tail wind at lower altitude. ShaCarri also jogged a 22 flat there…letting up and jogging at about 150, lol! I never take times in areas of high altitude but so seriously, but I would still LOVE if Olympics were there! It would be near impossible to replicate the same times as here (all things equal) at lower altitudes in the thicker air.
It's a terrific performance for Omanyala. Kudos to him. However, keep in mind that Nairobi has an altitude of about 1,800 meters. Most altitude correction models give an estimated correction of about 0.05 s in the 100 meter time for a sub-10.0 s sprinter. In other words, a 9.80 s time at 1,800 m is approximately equivalent to a 9.85 s time at sea level.
its 0.05s per 1000m. so he got aided by about 0.08s on altitude alone. he also had a very decent tail wind.
Gapped the field 😮
I like Omanyala but he always runs fast at home. He tends to fade in the rounds of the bigger event. We'll see. Paris will be unpredictable.
A lo maldito💪
👍👍
That's what I'm talking about!! The USA is the standard, so to come to the party with a 9.8 is serious!! He has made himself a legitimate threat!!
Jamaica is the standard
Paris isn’t at altitude, nor is the American or Jamaican trials. Don’t get too excited off a fast sprint time here.
@@cuthburkelambert1841 😂😂😂😂😂😂😢😢😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
9.7 actually
@@cuthburkelambert1841relax…USA and Jamaica are the standard in track and field…we are BOTH the best in the world. Although, USA has far more men performing at a higher level than Jamaica, while Jamaica has tons of the best natural talent in sprints. We can give eachother props, folks!
BTW, this time is irrelevant at altitude…it will be the equivalent of about a 9.9 elsewhere.
this is great, but Omanyala should know the dip slows you down!
Woop woop
Vow Kenya can sweep both sprint and long distance races.
6000 ft above sea level... That was about a 9.90 at sea level
Congratulations. But problem is that you have never performed well at the international arena (with exception of the commonwealth)
Bro was in the wrong heat.
What was the wind?
Genetic talent, right there..... Amazing!
Coba diulang ulang videonya
They were running on a very fast track

that race should be a redo, the guy in lane 5 was moving before the gun, false start
Nope. Based on where the camera Equipments are, sound travels slower than light
😮
1700 meters above sea level.
He blew them out the water from the jump. Wasn't even close.
I Hope real africans will reclaim back all their records, as an italian i find hilarious how we europeans and americans not only stole their lands, but also their potential and their hopes, go Kenia, Botswana, Nigeria , Cameron and all africans Brothers , show the world your Shine 🎉

The problem with omanyala is freezing in front of big names
Blessing tan 10.6 in Africa one year and barely ran 11.0 at the games. Dont believe these times
yes makes you think ..what we know
There before the finish line he slowed down, you haven't been keen, he slowed down at the finish course just afew seconds and he would be in the elites Usain 😢
Lyles must have sleepless nights already!
*Nairobi is at 5900 ft. above sea level, there is less air resistance at that serious altitude, that time isn't that impressive.*
We know the altitude, but what was the wind speed? We need to do our calculations!
All his records are in Kenya
Time?
9.79 i think
9.79 (1.5)
9.79 +1.5 with altitude.
It’s wind aided?
@@ashleybrown3305no it was at altitude. Wind legal. But altitude allows for running faster times because of less wind resistance. He only runs this fast in Kenya.
Usain bolt clock the same time 9.80 to win the Gold at the Rio Olympics.
This was at altitude. SMH. Literally not comparable.
I hope he is clean
He's not like Marion Jones, Tyson Gay or Justin Gatlin dude. Nor is he like Florence Griffin Joyner who took so much PEDS she keeled over and died at a young age. 😉

But wen it comes to him being under pressure he really can’t perform
Stop the nonsense. This guy jumped the gun
😂😂😂
His personal best is 9.77, embarrassing from the commentator. His 9.80 in this race is the fastest time in the world in 2024.
When he lands to Olympic he runs 10😂😂😂 unless Kenya track is small or he's pride .. I pray for him that he be the fastest in the world soon coz he can make it
