GUILD WARS 2: The Dragonhunter - Detailed Class Guide [Heart of Thorns Guardian Elite Spec]

- This is an up to date Guild Wars 2 guide covering everything you need to know about the Dragonhunter, which is an elite specialization of the Guardian. This video shows off all of the weapons the Dragonhunter can use and looks at all of the individual weapon skills. It also has a look at all of the healing, utility & elite skills the Dragonhunter has at it's disposal. It then goes on to look at the elite specialization for the Dragonhunter and what each individual trait does for your character. The video finishes with a short combat demonstration with a basic Dragonhunter build so you can see what it looks like when it all comes together.

@@HeroicFlamingo I'm actually considering Mesmer now... The in-game description didn't really convince me but after looking at your professions guide it seems they're really fun to play! I also made an engineer (paired with action camera it feels like an actual rpg shooter, who would've known) so I've been having fun with that

Basically its a guardian trapper similar to a ranger. Hows the survivalibility on this build? I trying to build condi firebrand though
Hello again. Are you able to have Both Dragon Hunter and Firebrand unlocked?
Good question! Yes, you are able to have them both unlocked! It will just take a lot of hero points to get you there 😃

I just started to Download the Game and haven’t Seen that many Videos yet.. is there a Good way to combine spear and a bow in a Build ? I do like both weapons alot but when i have to drop one i would get Rid of the bow.. 😅
Hey man 😊 the spear is actually only an underwater weapon so you wouldn't be able to put that in your normal build. Is there perhaps a different weapon you were referring to?
@@HeroicFlamingo i learned that in another Video Right after.. too Bad spear is no normal weapon to use.. haven‘t decided yet what class or profession to Go for
Daredevil looks Fun but doesnt really Utilize the bow that much beside its mobilty aspects and i don’t like thief gameplay in General so it Might be a pain for me to level that character to level 80
From what i‘ve seen so far.. i do like Dragonhunter with Longbow and Holosmith with sword and shield the most
Dragonhunter and Holosmith are both very good options 😊 if you like bows, the Ranger has some good elite specs, especially the Soulbeast 😊 I hope you find the Profession that suits you but don't worry if you have to try a few to find it. Your favourite class is seldom the first one you choose 😊
how do i get the dragon hunters longbow? i got myself a second guardian but on this character i didnt recieve that longbow, is that normal?
You get it when you start the Dragonhunter specialization line ☺️ you get it with the achievement and as the achievements are account based, I believe you will only receive it once. If you have already had it, you should be able to get something similar on the trading post relatively cheap 😊

Dragonhunter can be a really good class as it takes the Guardian which already really powerful and builds on that 😃

@@HeroicFlamingo I literally haven’t actually started. I’m a massive researcher haha. Spent hours and hours watching your videos to get a full understanding. Helped a lot. I like the necromancer, ranger and guardian. DPS and cool looking spells always get me so I’m really trying to get the highest dps class I can 😂
