I NEVER Liked gardening or plants. But this year I'm completely infatuated with learning about gardening. Learning about deciduous trees, perennials and annuals, identification, and all of this has me completely in awe of God. I went to a Nursery yesterday by myself and was in Heaven. Seriously, God has opened my eyes to so much beauty, and I'm so glad he widened my heart to something so ample and free that's all around me. So glad others are experiencing this too!
I love this! My experience has been similar. I never thought much of gardening as an adult until last year and now it just draws me closer to God! He literally created food to produce endless food. So awesome
Amanda, the Holy Spirit has been giving more and more of us this message for the last couple of years. After you learn how to garden, learn how to put up (preserve) food.
Yes, girl, YES!!! It is so important to know how to be self sustaining. Especially in times like these when our government is so unstable and anti American. Thank you for sowing the seeds that will hopefully reach more and more of us and we can fight back! ✊🏼
This is exciting. You could start a gardening channel. God put it in my heart to start growing food and learning about herbal medicine too. I only have a patio but this season I started some vertical gardening. Any little bit helps.

I soooo agree! My father and I made a big garden box last year and will be getting durt for it this summer. We have a ton of seeds, and I have been growing some leafy plants in the house. Please continue becoming so self-sufficient! Love your video, and you have a very calming voice.❤
I'm 63 year old woman,been gardening for about 5 years,built my own raised beds out of scraps and pallets,and built my own compost bins,not always successful but it's like free therapy, relaxing to the mind
Tip: don’t use weed paper at the bottom of your beds. Use cardboard. This allows your roots to access the earth’s microbiome, and the worms to enter your beds. And fill your beds to the top with your compost. They settle and lower fairly quick in the season.

It seems as if God is wanting His people to grow their own food, because I too got this revelation from Him a few years ago. I started off very small at first, but now I’m in the process of expanding and I am So confused about everything from the soil to when to plant and what to plant, etc. I pray about it regularly. I’m determined to move forward knowing that it’s an assignment from God!
Tip: some types of wood can be toxic for your plants, so I would recommend lining the inside of your raised bed. My raised beds are all lined with plastic.
Just a tip! Leaving plastic under your compost in the garden bed will make it harder for the helpful earth organisms to peek through and help your plants root systems and health :) If you want to get rid of grass it's worth covering the patch you want to build a garden bed on with black plastic or cardboard a few months before you want to build a bed. No Dig is also a very useful Gardening concept

But my dogs couldn’t go outside in the backyard
