@@MikeDunneregulation gameplay is the last of these guys we will get until it eventually fizzles out as well. Dog arm is an utter disaster and pulls zero views. Each member has slowly either focused on different career paths, podcasts, or streaming. Safe to say the best days are not only behind us but likely 5+ years behind us. You likely will never see a video with Michael, Geoff, Gavin, Jack, Jeremy, Matt, Lindsay, Trevor, Alfredo, etc. unless GTA 6 comes out and somehow the stars align.

I was a new guy. This video showed up on my recommended videos. I got to about 6:00, and when Michael said that I promptly went and watched the whole lets play. I have now arrived back at this video.

Would like to say 3 years later still going strong. Started playing Minecraft because of these guys and 100% plan to go to RTX at some point. Love these guys and what they've done. Have mutiple shirts and have made new friends bbecause they recognized the merch.
At 30:46 Jack glitches into the massive pyramid and I caught a glimpse of lots of gold inside. I wonder it that's a special #100 let's play. I recall Geoff shouting at people not to go near it when it had been breeched and Gavin possibly cut out footage too. Any thoughts anyone?
Well based on what I saw at RTX I think, Jack already showed the inside of the Altar of Pimps briefly, but made no mention of its involvement in any future Let's Plays.
I never saw that,I'm interested to see inside, only because it's the one place they intentionally don't show. If I can't see it I want to know more haha

They have been showing glimpses of the Altar for months now - there are lots of trees, gold and specific structures inside it. They even have gavin walk into the altar and stay in it for about 5 mins of a lets play and its just him walking around a little in a part of the altar.

You guys should do this but have it more like assassin's creed:
1. Build a small area (maybe a parkour map)
2. Geoff sends everyone a message (that only they can see) of their first target.
3. When they kill there target they get 2 points and Geoff gives a new target.
4. If they kill their attacker they get 1 point.
5. If you kill someone who isn't your target or your attacker then you lose a point.
I would love to see this in minecraft, (maybe just for the hell of it put in some monsters)

Little issue I notice in this lets play. Those who die are at a serious disadvantage against those who have all the iron gear. There's nothing they can do, eventually, one of them is just going to dominate the entire match after a bit.

It's funny how they bitch up a storm about how much the PC version sucks because the server crashed (because Ryan didn't set it up properly) but when almost every game they play on Xbox gets ruined by slow world loading it's no big deal.

Near the end, they could have employed an excellent strategy. Since Jack gave up, he could have stood by Ryan's bed and just kill him every time he spawned while the others kept playing.

Lets play idea, scavenger hunt. Geoff or someone else hides enough gold blocks and obsidian for 3 towers of pimps around achievement city, but the twist is that the person that hide the tower also left clues. So sometimes you might find a piece and sometimes you might find another clue. So there might be a clue at the bottom of felix baumgartner, that would say something like "Fighting the armies of the nether is more fun when you have a TRAIN of friends to help, which would be portal house.

They should get a bunch more people around roosterteeth to join up in minecraft and make big teams of lads and gents and have like a castle siege kind of game. They would have a certain amount of time to build their defenses and whatnot then all out war for the capture of each team's tower of pimps

One by one, the free lads of Achievement City fell to the power of Ryan, but there were some who resisted. A last alliance of men, creepers and bears marched against the tower of Ryan, and on the very slopes of Achievement City, they fought for the tower of pimps. Geoff has an unfair advantage in this kind of challenge, because as the host he can easily chase other players done as they get trapped in the loading chunks.

I think that someone who is not participating in the Lets plays (like Lindsay) should just go around AC and make more "easter eggs" hidden and for all future full map lets plays, if they are found, they can be used for an advantage. nothing OP like Diamond armor but maybe things like a single diamond or iron booties or even potions (kinda like hunger/survival games but on a larger stage)

How is it a dumb idea? I mainly suggested it so that the minecraft lets plays that they do can be more amusing, with someone else who does not play it, can join in. They did it with ryan, and he eventually became a regular, so they can surely bring in someone from rooster teeth for a lets play every once in a while. They do it for lindsay

Even if they don't have gus or joel as guests on an episode, regardless it would still be cool and amusing to see someone else play with them.

Lets Play suggestion, basically the same.(Human Hit List X) Each person has an iron sword and boots(7 pairs) and has a designated person to kill and it has to remain a secret; if their person kills them, they get killed by their hunter, or their person knows then they go to the next person on their list. And it can be like Ray has to kill Jack and Jack has to kill Ray but they wouldn't know that was happening. It may be a little hard to keep up with but I think it'd be fun.

I like how they were saying during the galacticraft let's play that they never have issues with xbox, yet they have two days they couldn't play do to network issues.

Their point was they never have problems on xbox, but clearly that is not true, they do have issues and it does impede their ability to play and record, it has nothing to do with it being on xbox or on PC; it's a matter of having 50+ people using the internet at all times throughout the day.

at 45:47 when Jack built his name in the sand I laughed my ass off for a solid 15 minutes.
I love how once they start converging on Ryan at the end, it will randomly cut to Jack just dinking around.
If you go to about 30:45 when Jack is on the alter of pimps the game glitches for about a second and you will be able to see a little preview as to what they have been working on in there.

Ryan is a lot more intelligent humor, whereas Gavin is more stupid humor. They balance each other out.

I have a great idea for 100th episode anniversary. A 5 part special edition extravaganzas.
I know that sounds like a lot but here me out. First off, either take a poll from the AH audience for the 5 favorite lets plays* or if that sounds too difficult, choose 5 lets plays* out of a hat (*by let's plays, I mean lets plays where they actually played for the tower of pimps, not team ones). These 5 lets plays will be played in a random order and the achievement hunter that won the most number of let's plays wins the tower. In the event of a tie, the 2 with the tie will compete to build a tower of pimps first. What's the catch? The competitors are allowed to take the materials they need to assemble their tower from anywhere in the world, EVEN PREEXISTING LETS PLAYS. Boom.
Anniversary means year bud, it would be more of a centennial I guess although that means 100 years

I had an idea for a Let's Play that was similar to this, but used a point system. Everyone starts out being worth 0 points and the amount of points you're worth increases every time you kill someone. So if you kill one person you're worth 1 point, if you kill five people you're worth 5 points. Your points would reset back to 0 when someone killed you. Alternatively, everyone could be worth 1 point by default and increase by kills from there.
The game could go for a set amount of time and whoever had the highest wins or whoever reached a certain amount of points first.
Sort of like Regicide, that's a really good idea.
The only problem I see is they will have to bring in someone from the outside to help with the math. But +1 on the idea.

Here an idea for a Let's Play. Since you have so many places in Achievement City, why not have a treasure hunt for buried treasure. Give everyone the first clue using rhymes and poetry that lead to the next one. First one to find the treasure and bring it back to their house wins the greatest Minecraft treasure of all; the Tower of Pimps.

Draw the hit list for each player from a hat and the order they are drawn in, that is the order they have to kill in. Also if you die on the way back to taking their name off the list, then your kill doesn't count and you have to do it again.
Or draw names from a hat and be like Assassin's Creed,nobody knows the who their killer is
Achievement Hunter should do a Pixelmon let's play. If you don't know what it is, check it out. If they want some kind of goal or path for the episode, maybe they could each get 30 minutes or so to get the strongest party possible and then have a small battle tournament to see who comes out on top. Any thoughts?

People of Achievement Hunter, I have a suggestion for a Minecraft Let's Play. This game mode is one that I created and have been playing with my friends for a long time. It is called Dethroned. Here's how to play:
1) Choose someone with a Minecraft world in which he has a substantial amount of materials.(Iron, Diamonds, etc.)
2) The world owner preps his world for three minutes
3) When time is up, the other players start in a reasonable vicinity from the owner's base.
4) Other players start with NOTHING
5) Goal: Dethrone the map owner (kill his ass)

No I don't. Joel would just get ganked to hell. Geoff, Jack, Ryan, Michael, Gavin and Ray are enough. There's no reason to overcomplicate things with the addition of the rest of Achievement Hunter (JJ, Lindsay, Caleb, Kerry etc.). Besides any more than 7 or 8 and they wouldn't have the recoridng equipment nor the mics to actually record iit. Plus having 15 or so differnet pieces of footage to edit together would be a pain in the dick that Gavin probably wouldn't want to deal with.

***** Yes they are. But Kerry and co. aren't part of the LetsPlay crew which is Geoff, Michael, Jack, Ryan, Gavin and Ray. (unless you want to count them editting). Basically several things need to be met:
- Editting needs to as painless a process possible.
- The video needs to be of decent length and good quality.
- Number of mics used are low so you can't just be having 25 people using them.
Also several more things have been highly requested:
- Joel gets more involved in LetsPlays
- Seeing more of Joel's Minecraft world
- The OP's suggestion of Dethroned
You could also add Lindsay and Kerry which I don't think would be particularly taxing especially since EVERYONE is capable of editting and they are also quite popular with viewers. Maybe Lindsay and Michael could do a King and Queen version in Lindsay's world.
This let's play reminds me of why Ryan is my favorite member of Achievement Hunter.

Michael said it right! I hated teachers who always pushed "show your work!" FUCK THAT. I do my work in my head so I don't take ages writing it all down and then erasing if any of it is wrong!

No I didn't have to check my work cause it was done in my head. That was the point of my post if you didn't catch that.

It may suck at times, but if you have the teachers that give you partial credit for showing the work even if you get the answer wrong. You get the better end of the deal.
Not only does it prove you actually know how to do it (instead of memorize the answer or cheat) it also helps you understand your own thought process. Mathematicians, Physicists, Chemists, Engineers, etc. all write down their work in order to prove anything they create or discover.
