To the lady that mentioned Vecna's large left hand... According to D & D, his left hand is where Vecna generates all of his power. It was actually Kas that cut off Vecna's left arm and caused the loss of his left eye. Apparently when Vecna's left hand is cut off, it itself becomes a powerful talisman that can be used against enemies. The "sign" of Vecna is a picture of a palm of a left hand with an eye in the centre. Kali, (number 8) from Season 2 had a picture of that exact sign hanging on the wall above her bed. Make of that what you will. And finally, did you notice that Henry/1 fights with his left hand while Eleven uses her right? The Duffers Bros think of everything.

Here is what I hope of Linda Hamilton's character in Season 5-- first she appears as a government agent also in the mission to kill Eleven but then at some point in the season, she comes to realize she is a kid with a good heart and helps her and her allies in their fight against the Upside Down by providing weaponry and resources. She is eventually busted by Sullivan and his men and she tries to convince Sullivan that he had the wrong target the whole goddamn time. If he doesn't accept that, I hope she is the one to finally kill him. He literally endangered underage teenagers like Mike and Will in his quest to find Eleven throughout Season 4.

A moment I really like from this episode: at the start of the scene where WIll shows the painting to Mike, Jonathan is looking really tired and bleary (like he shouldn't be driving, honestly). But the moment he catches sight of how Will is emoting in that conversation, he's immediately alert. Best brother mode reactivated.

One of the best episodes of the season that sets everything up and finishes The PaPa storyline perfectly. Will's talk to Mike is amazing acting from Noah and hope he gets more scenes like that next season. Amazing episode that sets the stage for one of the best episodes in TV History.
