Ascent route: Fiesch - Eggishorn - Aletschgletcher - Concordia Platz - Grünhornlücke - Finsteraarhorn Hutte - Hugisattel - Finsteraarhorn
Same descent route. Reserve minimum full 3 days for this ascent. One of the most remote peaks in the Alps. Finsteraarhorn Hutte is closed in January, bivac has 8 comfortrable places.

Hi. Until when can you skin up?. What altitude?

With good snow condition you can climb on skies until Hugisattel 4050 m. If there is too much ice and hard snow you will have to probably use crampons above 3500m and carry your ski on backpack.

@@rolandom6069 Yes April is main season, our January was pretty unique. In April you will have Finsteraarhorn hutta and Concordia Hutte open.

@@ELEVATE_SKI Yes. We stay in the hutte indeed. Is the Ridge difficult?. I don't think so right?

@@rolandom6069 I think it is little bit tricky, there are two places where you would like to use rope if you have some nonskilled climbers in the group. Generally it is UIAA 2. But the ridge is pretty long, so you must have time reserve to go to the summit and come back... Good luck!
