@@involvedhail1788 As someone who's played both the DX and Dreamcast versions pretty extensively, there really isn't that big of a difference between them gameplay-wise.
The Dreamcast version is only slightly less jank. And the DX version lets you skip cutscenes, so there's one advantage.
