    This tour is a good idea for helping sell your properties to us from out of town. Appreciate your content. Makes me miss New England.

    Been binge watching all of these realtors in Maine with the listings of lakeside cabins and wow what a beautiful place. It seems like there a bagillion of these. Some of these are videos downright painful to watch. I mean that in a postive way.

    I was stationed at Loring AFB in the 80's and spent alot of time in these woods hunting and fishing and enjoying the "wild " of it. Live in Delaware now but was born in Lincoln many years ago. Don't know if we'll ever live there again but we visit as often as we can.

      We are seeing people move here from CA, CO, TX and other western States. Low cost of real estate, plenty of water, and typically cooler temperatures during the summer months are part of the draw.

    Totally agree that it's a wonderful place to live. One thing to be aware of is that medical care is marginal, if not downright poor. This is based upon personal experience. Just being truthful.

    2.5 million acres of privately owned land? Wow!!!

    • @richardtheriault7624
      @richardtheriault7624 Před 2 lety +1

      Most of that land is held by large companies and are large tracts. There are a small amount of smaller parcels but mostly the tracts are owned by people or entities that may own a few thousand to a a million or more acres. Irving is a company that towns a lot of the land in the region. Private land with public access is a very nice benefit and privilege we enjoy here.

      @@richardtheriault7624 Matter of opinions. Iam a skier and the Sugarloaf/Saddleback area beats Any downhill skiing in Aroostook county. I went to UMPI and lived in the county for a few years. My guess is your from the St John valley? What are your reasons? Because it’s the most remote with no interstate? Is it culture because you have a French name? Perhaps you speak French? It’s probably the rivers and waterways that go for miles. That’s my best guess. Perhaps no one from out of state.
