Engine and Electrical Department: Vision should be 6/12 in each eye or 6/9 in better eye and 6/18 in the other eye; The vision should be 6/6 (normal) in each eye separately for Merchant navy.

You can give improvement exam but after certain time you can't give it. You should apply for it when circular released from CBSE.
By improvement exam you can improve your marks in subjects you want to improve by giving exams again for those subjects
