OoOoo the new version looks wayy thiner then my 1996 version of the jagstang. And they finally fixed the pickguard! They look so much better than the original runs. Mines kinda chunky and slabby like a telecaster lol. And the pickguard doesn't match the horn which has always driven me mad baha why fender why?!
I’ve never seen the original in person, but this one’s body is pretty thin! According to some videos I’ve seen, the color is pretty different too, a lot more pastel/brighter looking

i got a red fiesta Jagstang and slapped a super distortion in the bridge and the cruiser pick up from dimarzio in the neck and probably the best tone ive ever had
Honestly I always think the Fender pickups suck. I would swap these Fender electronics for something that can actually sing. About to do the same in my Squire Cyclone.

No it’s pretty stable, I go ham with the whammy bar too and I haven’t had any problems after “breaking it in”
These guitars sound cool but the bridge for restringing them is a pain and you don’t have easy access to the truss rod

I have multiple Squiers and one of these and I always switch them out for Seymour Duncans.
