I live in Japan and these are usually the kind of answers you get from someone who "kind of" understands English. Imo it sounds less like he doesn't care and more like he's only understanding part of the question.
@@MOOSEMAN7809 I would be thinking the same thing as you if I didn't see the interview first. He appears at the same level of fluency as my mom if not potentially better. My mom can understand English at a fluent level but not at the point if someone started using thesaurus type words which Joey was not using. I personally think he just misinterpreted that one question hence he said "when I was 30." To be able to hold a decent conversation at any language you need to know beyond just " kind of". I think he's really just at the point in his life where he doesn't give a sh*t. Also based on his personality and his quick responses.

Felt like G was a little disinterested for a lot of this (understandably not that interested in talking about his own wealth) but it was pretty heartwarming when he seemed to actually spring to life when Joey asked about TKD which he is clearly passionate about.

GACKT wear glasses cuz he's sensitive toward bright light. His studio and his house basically like a cave.
I have to say that’s something I didn’t know but now recall watching a 2013 documentary about his Japan tour and he was wearing sunglasses during the rehearsals even when he was just watching if the stage, the dance, and above all lightings were good. He would sometimes take off his glasses to check details but then would immediately put them on. So I don’t know if this is true or just him being tired and not wanting people to see his tired eyes but being sensitive to lights could actually make sense 🤔🤔
@@Mlle.Lamarin he also did a couple of surgery some time ago, one called lasik for bad eyesight and even in MM days he would wear glasses almost all the time. To ppl with this condition this kind of surgery it makes your eyes even more sensitive. As someone with the same eye condition I can say his house is just like my house... of course, not all the expensive stuff, just the light system. XD
