I've just launched a new Survival Challenge Series re-visiting some epic stories, hope you enjoy! czcams.com/video/HAnX2XLI8g4/video.html
If you stop talking for second you would get that fire faster!!!
Super cool, I loved the vido, mate
Coconut crab
That coconut stabilizer to start the fire, was freaking genius! Love the ingenuity
To be accurate, you did have one more resource that day, a very valuable asset. You had Fran, who makes for one very excellent partner.
Alright Jack! One trick and it will will reassure you the next day, or at least explain if you are being visited.
When I used to sleep in the bush or camp on the edge of the beach, before bed, clear away your tracks around your position. (camp area and paths leading to)
If you get visited you will be able track the visitor.
The episode when your boat drifted off really had me worried about the two of you both. And how long it took for you to swim to it. I'm glad your both safe to tell the story afterwards. Always play safe! Cheers Mate! 👍👍
True that. survival
Seems like you experienced a bit of sleep paralysis where your mind partially awakes but your body is still asleep and under the protection of paralysis (aka atonia). People often experience hallucinations during these biological twilight moments. In the olden days people would believe (or actually hallucinate) that a demon or monster of some description was sitting atop them or holding them down somehow preventing them from moving.
I have had that experience as well and ~when I called upon the name of Jesus it went away and I was awake where my eyes were open and I still felt it until Jesus took care of it.
And another time something was pressing down on my throat and it was intentional and I couldn’t see anything but I felt it my eyes were awake I felt like I was awake and the name of Jesus is what you do and it is the Lord Jesus Christ that comes and gets rid of it.
but sleep paralysis normally happens when you are laying flat on your back. that’s when your body relaxes the quickest, HE WAS LAYING IN HIS SIDEEEE!!!!!! lol just an observation
@@iamdeku9981 It doesn't really make a difference, at least to myself. I find it happening more when I'm sleeping outdoors or in a new/strange place. It's like the caveman part of my brain is trying to be conscious of my potentially dangerous surroundings and noises while my body goes, nope, we're definitely sleeping now whether you like it or not.
@@iamdeku9981 There might be something to note with that. Ive had sleep paralysis since childhood. When I sleep on my side the attacks are mostly audio. Compared to the physical ones that happen when on my back.
@@briceni6136 if that’s the “caveman” in us then why would it also happen in our beds in our homes. I feel like it’s just a way of our body knowing something is about to happen
I remember watching that video when you lost the boat.
That could have been really rough, makes you really appreciate tent, water source, food, fishing gear, etc. Thanks for sharing.👍🏻👍🏻🎣🐾
Wow Strick, never knew about this story. You do a great job laying it all out, and I think we'd still be seeing you two after the rescue if you hadn't retrieved the boat!
Very good 🤠☺️
Oh, yes.
What a wonderful story to share.
Thank you, Strick and Fran. I always find your entries very enjoyable. Keep it coming!
Another very inspiring & instructive episode in survival techniques on a simply magnificent idyllic island down under! Great job, Jack!
Very good 🤠😊
Strick that was a great episode 🦘🇦🇺😎 about the hand 🤚 in the back,I would say you fell a sleep because you were so busy looking for food and everything else. Your body would just have relaxed but you mind would have still been going through what to get next 🌴🐟🐠
Most excellent Jack. Perfect blend of danger, nature, survival knowledge, and luck! I could watch videos like that ALL day. Thank you.
Another awesome video Jack, I still remember that episode, ur were so tired after finally getting too that boat that was adrift, mate i swear I learn so much watching ur videos every week, thanks for always sharing yours and Frans adventures, well done mate ✌✌
love these moments with with you Strick, I think the heat is the worst and you have to keep hydrating, excellent video
Strick, Great video and informative on how to survive and fire starting.
So pleasing to watch! Great tips and ideas, thanks mate!
Imagine how strong the indigenous people of this great land are, not only survive but to thrive for 72,000 years plus in this hard place.
That was bloody epic strick, one of my favourite episodes for sure. It’s awesome to see what life would’ve (somewhat) been like for humans before we developed the tech that we have today.
Very good 🤠☺️
Love those Island Survival Videos , would just watch them , please more like this
2nd, love these 2, especially their underwater videography.
Well done Jack! Always a pleasure mate! 😉❤
wow... it was great. I really enjoyed. Thanks for sharing Strick
Amazing journey 👍🏻🙂
22:56 😯 wow so talented
Thank you for this episode, it was amazing. I love the longer videos. Dude you did great on this challenge. I look forward to Sundays and Wednesdays.
Very good 🤠😊
I remember that episode! It was nail biting lol but all’s well that ends well! Great video!
Very nicely videoed and edited. A palpably real situation conveyed well.
Boy does this bring back many a fond memory from when I/we(brothers/sisters) were young...lived out in the Spanish country side and use to build lean- to's,huts etc out in the sand dunes...heat/shelter/water from the elements were the only things we needed(not really water, but was fun to dig for it in the sand dunes!!)
20:03 , I have made " fire " ! A nice what if , in reference to what if the worst did happen . So thanks again for another enlightening tutorial .
Could've been custodian ancestors letting you know their around. Great survival skills..love how the mullet just sacrificed itself..lol
Great to see your knowledge and ingenuity got you through the tough times.
Very good 🤠😊
Very cool. Nice job showing skills
Wonderfully filmed plus incomprehensibly beautiful nature..I love your hunting and grilling fish on the coast, as well as surviving tech. Thanks for everything and keep going, greetings from Alberta - Canada.🤙🍁🤠💕🌿🍷✌
Very good 🤠☺️
Strick & Fran i really enjoyed watching your videos you guys are awesome 👍
Great video. Most people don't realize that it takes a LOT of patience to catch food most days. Survival is tough.
Don't eat when you don't have a source of drinking water...you need water for digestion, otherwise you actually increase your dehydration.
Luckily they have coconuts...pure drinking water and a food source. The coconut oil can be used for sunburn.
Thanks for the excellent video. Made with a soul and great talent. Each Robinson should have its own Friday or Fran.
I have to say. That was bloody awesome!!!!
The mighty anglerfish ey 💪😏❤🔥
Good Great Show Braugh
Super Cool Survival Challenge. Amazing Video, Awesome Vlog. Interesting Content. Thanks for Sharing your surviving skills. So Cool.👍👌🇨🇦
just my input for what it's worth. If you turn the palm fronds around so that they angle "down" it will cause rainwater to shed off your shelter and land outside your dry area. I live in Botswana and we also use palm fronds for shelter. The way you have put them certainly gives shade, but any rainwater quickly fills the palm leaf cavities and will drip right onto your "dry space" If you angle them in a "down facing" position, you can also arrange containers to catch any shed rain or dew water. I may be wrong. But that is my experience.
You threw away a spent lighter which would generate a spark even when empty!? Really enjoyed this episode. I hope I can find the video of the original lost boat! He sure knows his stuff.
best channel to use as a tutorial❤❤❤❤
Its really interesting how on a field trip one time, we had to build the exact same shelter that you used in this video. Interesting stuff!
Wow, that's amazing, friend
Love the way you survived
Leisurely fire technique
Ty 4 information ❤
Hi❤❤❤❤
That was awesome thanks mate 👍
I went back and watched the video on the boat loss. Nuts completely nuts. Just nothing between disaster and getting the boat back. If you hadn't got the boat back could you have made it back to the island? I think your guardian angel was on that day.
Great stuff. Newly subbed, keep it coming. Best from Okinawa, Japan.
Thanks for the vido 👍 loved the natural lighter 😊 avoid aluminum between you and the food 👍
Very fun videos and stories. Thanks for taking us all along on your adventures. Wonderful stuff.
That was great and I learned some things as well!
Great challenge
Bro give us back fran and you togather survivals pls ❤️😍☺️🥰 that was the best episodes seeing you happy togather living dream life
Bloody hell ur a champion Azza.
Excellent tutorial.....
Mel is The Road Warrior
Strick is The Beach Warrior
Dude Strick this video is amazing! you might save some lives by showing these skills to the uninformed, I would love to see more survival and bushcraft style videos in the future, also please please buy or make bows and fishing arrows for you and Fran to bow fish! You would have stuck that bonefish from up on the beach that would be so epic to add bow fishing!! Thanks guys love y'all from Alabama!!
Where is Fran? So good with the two of you working together...
Excellent! This step by step could literally save someone caught in this situation. I love the islands and will tuck this in the back of my mind. Hopefully I will not have to use it. Thanks!
The island spirit just grabbing you to see if he can try some Athleticgreens.
What a great video!!
Nice adventure guys.. & also nice place.. watching from the🇵🇭🇵🇭
Very good 🤠☺️
Fresh Cool Water is always the first thing, Strick. Hunt while You Are looking for something to Drink.
Hey on the 2 minute marker, you come across a spent bic- liter-..... did you know that the little wheel is 💯 percent carbon...Good item for survival to start an easy campfire .....Dont over look the smaller things.....everything EVERYTHING IS USEFUL .....
Enjoying your videos....this is my second video watching of the day ......Learning so much !!!!!
& Thank you so much ...
The stories you share of stranded people are also heartwrenching scary scary .....
Peace
Be safe
Xo
I really enjoy watching this video
Coooool adventure ✨️ 👊🏿
sick vid man,, awesome
Bad skipper loses his boat bud! Well done for catching it though.... 😜
Well done
Nice Episode
Great stuff mate, just discovered your channel unbelievably fun
Thank you so much for these beautiful videos. Watching your videos is always a high point in our week, Please Upload Videos Often💪👍
Very good 🤠☺️
Well done my friend 🤠
Gave me chill bumps
Great episode to make you think through the potential consequences and ways to survive. Do you bring more survival gear in your land bag nowadays? Like a Garmin Inreach device and a flint? I was thinking for myself that I might start doing that just in case and its small enough to always bring along and get you out of trouble a lot faster.
Very good 😊😊
In order of importance ...
Shelter, water, fire, food.
The rule of threes...
Three minutes without air.
Three hours without shelter.
Three days without water.
Three weeks without food.
I REALLY ENJOYED THIS VODEO! ONE CAN ONLY BE SO LUCKY! STAY SAFE!
Hi from PNG... really enjoy watching your videos...maybe someday you do a trip to one of the islands here 😁❤️💯
You should put the AG-1 in the coconut 🥥 and shake!!! 😀
I've done that actually, it was great! :)
Very cool
Welcome to kampung hood man..nice..got me chillin remember when i was a kid live in Malaysia man..congrats man🎉
Muito bom seus vídeos...Joinville - Santa Catarina, Brasil
Ghost Island... The fact that you felt the presence prior to touch... says alot...
Great job on the fire 🔥 🍻🇨🇦
That was so cool 👌 I loved the fire 🔥 fish 🎣 and all your patience needed for supper !
well done with that spear on the fish mate, very difficult
Ur very knowledgeable hun & correct too, that Turtle was definitely chomped by a Tiger shark, but those teeth marks i would have kept the carapace for sure as a momentum of ur experience 😊
We can remember when you lost the boat, what an episode. Can't you burn the dry coconut husks? Thought it would be a good dense burning fuel? . A great watch thank you!
Great video. Just a FYI, if you had filled the globe completely with water instead of halfway you would have eliminated the shake and thus the excess refraction and loss of focus and at the same time increased the focusing power of the lens (to get the last of the air out, hold it in your hand to expand the air and then plunge into water which will contract the air and suck water in..repeat process till full.)
How do you get things like AG delivered when you live on a boat?
Very good 🤠☺️
U R AWESOME BROTHER.
Thanks Mate, that was epic…..👍🇦🇺🇳🇿
Thanks guys 🐟👍🏻😎
Strick you are vey resourceful
You look FANTASTIC!
At sea the scenery is so beautiful I have never seen the sea.
2:11 always keep a lighter even if the lighting part doesn’t work, if you use a knife to cut the plastic into small pieces it’s great for fire starter
Next time bring a fishing pole mate 😃👍
It's scary You've done it God bless 🤣
Maybe try purging the snails in green coconut water for a while. I bet they will taste great
Hey brother I'm a bit of a history buff and on the show where you were looking for the missing Jet. The round wheel looking iron thing you picked up looked a lot like a world war 2 mine. You guys please keep that in mind at all times lots of those islands and their shallows were mined extensively. Most of them would most likely be rusted out and inert but it's possible some aren't. I truly love your posted shows. Please be very careful! Bro Andy n Sis Sandy Marion County Ga USA
Loved your videos bro. Greetings from the Philippines
