This is what coping looks like. Erod would rather play in Detroit than be a Dodger for a second, let that sink in.

@JamesLong80Look, the Dodgers are fools if they think that by adding Otahni will be enough to put them over the hump. They absolutely have a lot of work to go deep in playoffs.

Tigers fan. Happy for Diamondbacks fans. I’ve already been calling for the firing of waiver wire GM Scott Harris. How do you no at least attempt to match this deal?! Because the dude is a loser there is no point to have him in the building if he’s just going to stand by and let our best player walk without even having a conversation. Scott Harris was very public about “we’re not going to have any talks with Erod until he makes his decision “ I want a GM that says. “HEY EROD WHATS IT GOING TO TAKE TO GET YOU TO STAY, EXTRA 5-7 A YEAR WITH AN EXTRA YEAR?!? DONE”. “HEY ILLITCH (tigers owner) WE NEED TO FORK OFF SOME MORE PENNIES OUT YOUR POCKET OR YOUR BEST PLAYER IS GOING TO WALK!”

He ain't worth $80M over the next 4 seasons. You had him at his prime age, and what did he do for ya besides not making an all-star team from a weak Tiger roster, and also screwin ya over at the trade deadline. Let's just see how consistent he's looking at age 33-34 of that deal?

He would have walked regardless! He was just playing poker with the I’m happy here & the family 💩. He’s not worth that much money. The tigers are heading in the right direction with the youth. They didn’t stand a 1% chance of keeping him.
