Ace Attorney (objection.lol) The Wild West and 1980s New York

Except the beginning and very very end, all this is from a messaging thread I had with a friend. I was reading a book called Pistol Daisy and sent her a photo of the front cover, and when she said she thought it was set in the Wild West, I sarcastically corrected her saying it was 1980s New York. She believed me, and this is what unfolded...
Some of the things mentioned inside jokes/references to us.
Eg the 80s party is a reference to how I had had a party that was themed in the 1980s
At the end, too, the bit of Hitler and Gandhi, were actually things my friend got confused about. To add another one to the pile, she thought Henry VIII was around in Victorian Times
