I believe he rang the police so his crimes can be seen. The weepy shit is to disguise his voice. He was proud of his work and wanted people to see his work.

I'm disgusted that even in the Compton call, he was only crying cuz he was scared he'd go to prison, he didn't care that he'd just murdered a teenager.

It would be cringe if murder wasn't involved. Just outright deranged.

I think he also got off on it, he wanted to sound like an extremely distressed female.. sadist

He’s insane. A part of him probably did hate himself for what he was doing and wanted to be stopped. But that part of him was obviously powerless.

I find it eerie how as the calls progressed, he went from sounding terrified to sort of cocky and haughty about it. That comment "you're not gonna pin this on me" makes me so angry, I can't believe he thought he could get away with this!

Hearing Stephani tearfully beg for an ambulance will never not be funny to me. But for real, the cops in this case were incompetent af! First they go after the wrong guy when a cursory search would have revealed he was in jail during the second attack, then they lose Stephani, allowing one more victim to nearly lose her life. THEN they wouldn't even go after him for Karen and Kimberly's attacks! Daily reminder that ACAB.

I don't think Stephani was truly sorry over what he did, especially after targeting a 19-year-old.

You've really never observed that English spoken in the UK or Australia has different pronunciations for many words than American English has?
