  • Hi team, Had to replace the shocks on the F3S off road van as the original ones totally collapsed all 4 at once.
Was wondering why the van was rolling around in the mirrors Hahaha.
An easy fix with ability to do on the road.
Biggest issue was getting the right shock geometry top and bottom for the Chinese vans can have unusual setups.
Luckily the F3s had a format the same as a standard EFS listing.
The difference with the new QUALITY shocks fitted was amazing.
    Like running on rails..
    Cheers Guys

I put Lovells 8 stage adjustable remote res shocks in my hybrid, they have a bit of spring in them but not a lot as far as lift goes. love your van it’s mint!

those shocks you took off are not meant to do the same as your new ones, TJM and tough dog (same same) don’t have any lift capacity either, not all shocks have an upward pressure that’s usually the job of the spring or leaf pack, the upward pressure is bugger all anyway if you can push it up to position with your hands.

Hi mate, ive just got a Fantasy 3S. Towed it for 2hrs on Hume freewsy todau and was white knuckle a couple times with the van bouncing around. Definitely need to change the shocks before i take my family out with it. What was the model number of those shocks you were installing please. Apprecite your time.

      Hey mate,
The mod # on the end of the box was, 36-5487
      Efs Elite.....EFS 4wd.com.au has them .
      efs4wd.com.au/product/efs-elite-shock-absorber-rear-36-5487/
4x4mods and direct suspensions also have listings.
Even though the original shocks, all of them, blew out basically at the same time
it still handled reasonably well fully loaded. We had done some pretty shit roads back from Cunnamulla just before it.
Wondering if your issue to get "white knuckle" events are something else also?
If your van was empty, they tow really well I think. they have a 220kg ish ball weight.
Does your vehicle have solid firm suspension on it to handle the heavy ball weight also?
This can float the front end around..
      Just wondering my friend.
      Best of luck.
Any other help if you need to bounce something off of me is cool.
      🍻Cheers mate Brian
