@@thefamm Aqualung is one of their most famous songs, but one without the flute. You need to get a copy of the lyrics. It's about the homeless and how we see them, and what life is really like for them.

I've been listening to them since the 60s I think this came out in 73.

Jethro Tull is the 'heavier' side of Progressive Rock. They released their first album in 1968, the latest one this year, they were big in the 70s, selling out stadiums. Ian Anderson is the vocalist, self taught flutist and general multi-instrumentalist. Defiantly not cowboys or country, more like medieval bards playing modern rock.

Stadiums?! How have I never heard of these guys? Time to go down the rabbit hole.

@@thefamm Thick As A Brick Live is a good one to show you the whole bands talent along with Ian's stage presence. Get the live one at 13:30 minutes, It is an shortened version of the album cut which is 44 minutes long! My God live is good also to see Ian go nuts on the Flute. This band is one that is better live. Not that their studio work is bad, it's great. They just put on one HELL of a show and tend to jam a lot.

      Aqualung
      Living in the Past
      Thick as a Brick
      My God
      Wondering Aloud
      Anything from the album Benefit
These are just a few off the top of my head.
      There's nobody else like them.
My other favorite band back in the 70's was Blue Oyster Cult.
You might wanna check them out too.
Like Jethro Tull, they achieved good success, but not the big time fame and acknowledgement like some other bands, because they were very unique, and hard to categorize.
      Not pop enough.
      I guess 😀
