Whittaker got taken down by DuPlessis, who isn't a conventional wrestler. Futhermore, Khamzat is a grappler not just a wrestler. Yes, he's not an olympic wrestler but he has a potent mixture of bjj & wrestling. He's similar to Merab in that sense. Whittaker wasn't all that impressive against often inactive Costa.

I don’t understand when fighters saying wrestling is boring? Obviously, those fighters who said it are always strikers and they hate it because they lose every time. Maaan, just learn how to get up. If a fan says it’s boring, it’s fine because he doesn’t have idea. But when fighters are saying it’s boring, it is because he is a striker and always afraid to fight wrestlers. Look at Sean O’Malley, Conor, Leon, they don’t want because that’s their weakness. So, they always say they don’t want to fight.

When you give you gotta reciprocate, Khamzat will definitely tire whittaker in first and second round and thus Whittaker will get tired. You're judging Whittaker's cardio based on his fights against non grapplers where he was able to go 5 rounds with them. When he goes against Khamzat who starts off with a fast pace, he will get gassed as well, thus Khamzat wins. And Whittaker has no submission and barely any tko game. Plus the karate style doesn't work well against top heavy grapplers, especially against chimaev, so based off paper Khamzat destroys him this fight,

Khamzat fought 2 guys that were one #1 contender and two #2 former champ and faced adversity. People say he gasses. Rober got finished and stopped and do people say he shows that he doesnt have what it takes or that he's beatable? Its biased i think. Both guys are great fighters rob is more experienced and faced alot more high level guys and Khamzat is probably hungrier and possess the mindset and style of a maniac. If Khamzat gasses early and falls apart rob wins if Khamzat dominates him on the ground and stay on the outside he stands a chance also

To be fair none of these fighters made a single valid point for rob. And I am an Australian. The reality is, rob is just such a great guy that everyone is picking with their emotions. The fact two of the guys tried pretending that khamzat doesn't throw hands was hilarious considering he bangs often. One of them said rob is a bigger guy, also false. The only thing that Rob has that is more elite is his striking technique, his footwork and his cardio. However this myth about khamzats cardio being bad makes no sense in both 3rd rounds he came back much stronger than both burns and usman two that are known for cardio. But his wrestling, grappling, power, size and overall toughness is what makes him by far the better fighter, but rob could win, but you would pick khamzat to win 9 out of 10 times. I think it's just trendy to hate khamzat right now. It's hard for me because I love rob. But I am picking Khamzat
@jeffbrown-ek8bg - Points that were brought up in this video (and you ignored) were Khamzat has yet to fight a ranked middleweight, Rob is tough to finish (2 stoppage losses in a TON of middleweight fights), Chimaev has a habit of gassing (he did NOT come back stronger, like what are you watching?) and this is a 5 round fight. There is no hate, that's a made up narrative for picking another fighter
