I think Islam will feel confident taking on Dustin in the stand-up. And may very well do it just to prove a point. And, if he gets in trouble, there is always his superpower in reserve. How can you compare Dustin to Volk as far as saying it was a tough fight for Islam the first fight and blah blah blah. This sport is about matchups. I think Islam underestimated Volk but also Volk being so short and having barely any neck at all and not much to grab onto & much lower center of gravity it was a tougher fight for Islam but we have seen improvements from Islam ever since that fight & Volks cardio is just crazy. Dustin has great striking cardio but his grappling cardio is def not as good as he has shitty takedown defense. People picking with their hearts when picking Dustin on most of these but making this comparison which is a totally different stylistical matchup for why Dustin will win is just dumb.
