I get exactly what she means when she explains why she did the activities with them even though she didn’t want to be in the group. She literally doing what a creative director does. If you really want to keep your funky, she’s actually doing what she says she’s there to do but people just don’t wanna hear her do it.

I think the show is great and I'm glad people are seeing Kiely in a different light. People wouldn't know she's actually really practical unless you follow her.
She knows exactly what her strengths are and exactly what her weaknesses are and she could not get a single fuck with any of y’all have to think about it. I have a newfound respect for her at face value, her reputation behind the theme still is extremely shady, but the way she presents herself to an audience is sickening!
That's great that she's helped artists get signed, but if we haven't heard of any of them or heard their music and they've all broken up then what's the point? If those are the acts on your resume, I would not be interested in seeking you out because I'll most likely end up a nobody whose name doesn't ring any bells. Signed or not. But the bigger point is that it seems like no one asked her to take on this creative director role. If production actually reached out to her about it then cool. But she was most likely asked to come on the show to actually be a part of the group like the rest of the girls. Just because the other ladies have experience writing for artists doesn't mean they're gonna come to the house and simply take a backseat role writing for the group without actually being in it. No shade, but Kiely's vocals have never been it. That's just my honest assessment from what I've seen and heard from her. I feel like the standard for singers has risen dramatically in the present day, and the struggle vocals that people like her, Irish, and Misha used to serve up back in the day isn't cutting it at all in 2021. So if you just don't wanna be subject to that kind of scrutiny because you know your talent doesn't stand up to the task, then just say that. Because I'm sure if folks start coming for her ability, she'll fall back on "well I'm not even giving it 100% because I'm just here to creative direct". Maybe she's insecure about what her full participation would look like idk. But there wouldn't have been anything wrong with her actively being a part of the experiment for however long it lasts and then going back to her creative director role in real life once it's over.
A group breaking up literally has nothing to do with her. It's not easy to get your foot in the door of the industry and make it unless you have another platform to help you gain a fan base (CZcams, reality TV, a famous cosign, etc). Even June's Diary (was formed on reality TV) is incredibly talented and they've been going nowhere for years. Most groups don't want to have to grind that long for a comeup and they give up. That is not a reflection on the creative director and his or her ability.
