In 8x02 we FINALLY get a plausible explanation for this that ties back into an apparently abandoned storyline for Alicia: radiation. Alicia was exposed to it and already had it in her body when she was bitten. Remember back in Season 5 with the radioactive walkers from the power plant???
exactly why she managed to survive the infection, if it weren't for the first dose of radiation from the blood that fell on her and the second that came from the result of the explosions, she wouldn't be alive...
Yeah it saved her 😅
so radiation is the cure to the infection? or was she never infected from the walker bite at all

@@travisnott It works as a cure to the bite, it just tends to be fatal to those that it's used on at the levels that are needed. In Alicia's case, it was more like the radiation weakened her infection enough for her own immune system to finish the job which is the only reason that she survived it.

Because it a Saga I mean they wouldn't want to End if anything it will do with the children as Adults and that's how it will go.from there
@@edenramos9686 dude is it hard to answer the actual question? My question is why you think the ones who live will be on in 6 years. If they do continue this story, it's not happening in a show about rick and Michonne 💀and beyond that, the ones who live MIGHT get 2 seasons, and that's still a maybe, it was produced as a limited 6 episode show, if it even does get a season 2, it will end after 2 seasons.
The one thing I’ll never get is if she is immune, then why did they cut her arm off? Why not a shoulder bite or something?
she's not immune
She's not immune. Her radiation exposure back in Season 5 gave her immune system the chance to fight back against the virus and beat it.
Cuz the walking dead universe loves amputations 😆
