Perfect casting, Ralph Ineson has such a booming and commanding voice, perfect for Galactus. John Malkovich would be a fun Mole Man
It’s the sort of authoritative voice that could tell you he’s going to eat your planet and you’d be like ‘hmm, yeah, that seems reasonable I guess’
Malkovich could, alternatively, be Puppermaster; he’s in the right age range to be father to someone playing Alicia Masters as close to Ben Grimm’s age.
Nah get Danny Devito to play Mole Man
For a second, I thought it was Ralph Fiennes as Galactus and I got really excited 😁 😆.
@@bryanferratt6598I feel like Finnes would be more fitting for a schemer or mastermind type character
Ralph Ineson’s voice is so perfect for Galactus
Can't believe Finchy from The Office is Galactus lol
Bloody good rep
“He was in the Final Fantasy game that came out recently”…. HE WAS CID?! He did a stellar job!
Ralph played Cid in FFXVI, a staplenin every FF game, and honestly, one of the best incarnations of the character. He also voiced Charles Vance in AC4: Black Flag. Such a recognizable voice.
6:27 Now that you mention it, Thanos giving that speech in the trailer is kind of a great misdirect. The trailer makes him seem like a force of nature like Galactus, while the movie makes him seem like a person. A crazy genocidal person, but a person.
Because Thanos himself thinks of his plan/goal as something that is necessary and correct, while everyone else outside his team realises he's just mad.
John Malkovich could probably play Franklin Storm, Sue and Johnny’s dad, or maybe he might even play Ben Grimm’s dad.
I think John Malkovich would be an excellent pick to play Puppet Master (underrated F4 villain and father to Alicia Masters, Ben's girlfriend). I can also see him as other characters like The Wizard or Willy Lumpkin The Mailman (character based on Stan Lee himself)
The talent in this movie is crazy good and I am so hyped to see Marvel's First Family finally get the respect they deserve
I'm not seriously positing this, but John Malkovich playing Doom is the funniest possible thing this timeline could ever produce
Love Ralph Ineson for Galactus. He's got a voice you hear with your whole body. Amped up to be the scale of a planet eater, that's going to be the kind of film you go to wearing adult diapers.
I’ve seen like none of the stuff he’s in and only heard of one, but I heard he’s also in the office just don’t know what char he played
@@PeecamarkeHe plays Finchy, he's in the original British series not the US remake
@@Peecamarke He played Chris in the UK series of the office, apparently he was the equivalent of the Toby in the US series.
He’s Cid in Final Fantasy 16, phenomenal voice, perfect for Galactus
People think Paul Walter Hauser could be Moleman instead of voicing Herbie
John Malkovich is definitely Willie Lumpkin for sure
If he’s not a villain, that would definitely be a solid role for him.
@@milkiassamuel780that’s what I was thinking he’s gotta be Puppet Master
Willie lump lump
Either The Puppet Master or Red Ghost for John Malkovitch would be a whole lot of fun
John Malkovich as Annihilus? Very feasible.
But hear me out: Molecule Man
Just being the bane of Dr. Doom's monologuing
First thing I thought of. I think he can bring the tortured manic energy Molecule Man needs
@@patriciomendoza19 and would probably be a good sympathetic villain. He's just a man with the power of a god, he's basically a multiversal bomb running away from all the superheroes going after him. Then being manipulated and used by Dr Doom
I think John Malkovich would be an excellent pick to play Puppet Master (underrated F4 villain and father to Alicia Masters, Ben's girlfriend). I can also see him as other characters like The Wizard or Willy Lumpkin The Mailman (character based on Stan Lee himself)

First Cid/Ramuh and now Galactus?! Man Ineson has been on fire lately! 🔥
John Malkovich would be an amazing Willie Lumpkin.
Imagine John Malkovich as Doom, ha.
Was so happy to see Ineson got cast as Galactus. He has been my pick since last year, can’t believe I predicted it
I could see John Malkovich playing Franklin Storm. Sue and Johnny’s father.
Thought the same thing
I guess we forgot about how bad the 2015 movie is.....💀
Ralph Ineson has actually already appeared in the MCU as the pilot of Yondu’s ship in GotG1
Alicia Masters' father is not a scientist. He was an old school toymaker who carved his toys our of wood and clay, which is how she started as a sculptor. He discovered some magic clay which let him make dolls of individuals to control them.
Malkovich is a career character actor. He does have some lead roles, but not usually;he typically plays villains or appears in ensemble films. Ripley's Game was quite good, and Dangerous Liaisons should be mandatory viewing for cinephiles.
My earliest memory of seeing him in something is as the French villain in Johnny English.
You missed the perfect character for Malcovich to play to connect the FF to the MCU. Molecule Man. Whose origin is connected to The Beyonder.
Not a bad idea
I feel like what makes Owen Reece work is that he was just a FF villain from the 60s that was brought back in the 2010s as a force of nature due to how his powers worked. Introducing him and using him the way secret wars did immediately wouldn’t hit the same.
John Walter Hauser is 100% percent playing either Herbie or Mole Man. It is one of the two and you cannot convince of any other options.
Dang, I’ve seen like none of the movies the Galactus actor is in and only heard of like two of them 🤷🏿 sounds like a big medieval actor dude tho
"or the puppet master"
*Shows a picture of John Malkovich*
BEING JOHN MALKOVICH
Perfect casting, really love his recent work in Final Fantasy XVI as Cid. There's something commanding and attracting of his voice that gonna be an interesting take on Galactus
pretty sure galactus is gonna destroy this world in this movie
In my head John Malkovich is just gonna play Franklin, but they would've announced that 🤔 But Ralph Ineson as Galactus is incredible casting, I love that for him and for us the audience
Love Ralph Ineson ever since the Office and IT Crowd. He really turns up in everything
Okay! Finally something’s he’s done I’ve heard of, what character was he? Was he one of the cameo bosses towards the last seasons?
@@PeecamarkeHe's talking about the original UK Office, not the US remake
@@Peecamarke yes sorry, he was on the UK version. I haven't watched the US Office, so maybe he turns up there as well ? Anyway, he's a villain in all of them. The closest he got to playing a good guy was in the first few minutes of Willow
I think the difference with Galactus as a force of nature is the self-awareness. He knows his purpose in the universe in a way that the Jaws shark can't.
He has thoughts and emotions. Plans and goals.
But beyond his own desires and intents, above all other things, Galactus must feed.
Malkovich as The Red Ghost would be a lot of fun!!!
Very happy with this casting
Hell yess I love Ralph Ineson! Ik you couldn’t possibly mention every single one of his roles but I think he’s also great as SkekMal in Dark Crystal Age Of Resistance
I like the green Knight
Dang I’ve see none of those movies, are dark crystal and age of resistance on CZcams?
Puppet master calling it now
the green knight is a movie that came out when i worked at a shitty theatre in my town, its closed now. but i was able to get free movies... i watched the green knight in a movie theatre alone and its in my top 10 movies solely for that experience
I just want to hear Galactus say "While you're down there love.."
(OG Office fans know)
I hope he's their new mailman. RIP Willy...
Back when there were rumors Antonio Banderas would be Galactus, I recomended on my other channel Javier Bardem (that chin). But, Ralph Ineson is an underrated actor and I've been keeping an eye on him since he played Charles Vane in AC: Black Flag and he's popped up everywhere lately - Game of Thrones, The Northman, The Creator, and Final Fantasy 16 as Cid. Also I didn't realize he was also in the Harry Potter films as a Death Eater. Glad he's becoming Galactus!
Every time you talk about this stuff you make me want to play Ultimate Alliance
Quick thing: I'm pretty sure the Green Knight represents ACCOUNTABILITY. The idea that you not only can't get away with the things you do, that repayment is inevitable, but that the mighty (who have felled many, felled because trees) will fall. One can't be on top without finding the bottom.
If Galactus is at all similar...it's possible he might represent the guarantee that our heroes will TRULY lose one day. He will balance the cosmos by consuming the planet that is oversaturated with superpower, especially if Reed takes that superpower to the cosmos alongside what The Marvels and Guardians are doing
I always knew Galactus was from Yorkshire, even though he's from the previous Marvel universe, I knew he was from Yorkshire.
Nobody’s saying this but I think John Malcovitch could play The Watcher if they’re looking to cast someone else. I’m happy with Jeffery Wright but you never know
I read the descriptions.
John Malkovich is probably the herbie robot thing.
I think if the sea has a face and a personality and wants to eat you, it's a villain.
Danny De Vito as The Mole Man. Do it Marvel!
Malkovich for Puppet Master Was only reminded of him because of this video, but the look is virtually perfect.
He played The Green Knight in the Dev Patel movie. That alone makes me excited to see him as Galactus.
If Malkovich plays mole man, I will cry tears of joy
We all know Danny Devito would be a great Wolverine, but he'd also make a great moleman
It sounded like a throwaway when you said it, but if he's playing the Vulture from Raimi's Spidey Universe, and this universe really does get eaten by Galactus or destroyed by Kang or whatever, that's an easy way to tie Tobey's Spidey into Secret Wars without spending any time on him in Holland's 4th movie. Have Spidey, MJ, and Mayday hitch a ride on their ship to the MCU or whatever and deal with it kinda like Pre-New-52 Superman coming back in Rebirth a couple years back
Ralph’s voice work in Diablo 4 was incredible. I can’t believe people haven’t mentioned that.. check out the the lore videos for D4 on CZcams if you want a great sample of his voice work
I feel like John could be a really good Physcoman very calm and collected until boom!
Imagine Malcovitch is puppet amster and he uses puppets that look like the little figures from Being John Malcovitch
What do we think Galactus’ look will be like for the MCU? Square pupils? Actual human-like face coming out of the helmet? Maybe something more in the vein of the Celestials in Eternals? I’m hoping a comic-true appearance myself. Great casting either way holy shit.
I’d love to see Malkovich as The Puppet Master
I think Puppet Master actually makes sense, if you want to introduce Alicia. Another good one would be Diablo
Surely the MCU couldn't have cast The Molecule Man any better than by choosing John Malkovich. He'd also provide an awesome voice for Herbie.
I always think of Ralph playing the father in The Witch.
Mole Man also appeared in the end of that Fantastic Four movie, where he take out the family out of the race where Dash is not quite running like he could ;D
Great channel, great stuff, been checking out since maybe around Dec. last year or Jan this, good thoughts here. Keep going. Question: I'm not worried of mainstory for upcoming new Marvel stuff, I'm interested however of what sort of build you would like to see, hidden/ teased/ etc, for the next and the thirs (FF in particular, like, should this hint at Doom or is he the big bad in a trilogy? Beyonder? Reed's dad?). You already have some great stuff in such lines, would love your take.Best I heard was Doom have already taken stage, in the blip in Sokovia as all eyes were turned. 5 years, or whatever we'd have today.
Places of the Heart has a great Malkovich performance. It's from the 80s and won Sally Field an Oscar. Empire of the Sun has one as well. That's a Spielberg movie starring baby Christian Bale about British and American Prisoners of War in China during WW2.
Imagine not listing Pascale Sauvage from Johnny English as the quintessential John Malkovich role...
Malkovich could play a lot of FF villains. Mole Man is the first one to jump into my mind.
John Malkovich played a puppeteer in Being John Malkovich.....
perfects casting for gray gargoyle is Vincent Cassel.
I think John Malkovich is playing The Mad Thinker.
He is clearly going to be Sue and Johnny’s dad.
Maybe just a coincidence, but one of John Malkovich's current(?) roles is as the head scientist in Space Force.
to fill you in on the kind of characher Cidolfus is in FF16, put simply he's the guy who shows up who knows everything thats happening and fills in the main character. He is a force of nature in a sense that he is part of a group called the Dominants who command an "eikon" which is basically a god, they can channel that gods power and even fully embody them at the expense of their life force. Cid has the eikon of lightning and is very grand with it
He played Charles Vane in AC Black Flag... that voice acting was amazing
John Malkovich looks like he could play the Puppet Master
My gut immediately said Red Ghost.
INSPIRED casting
Here in the UK he's the voice of O2 mobile phone adverts as well
Bloody good rep
Puppet Master would be my bet.
Paul Walter Hauser gotta be Moleman.
The Mad Thinker… was that Walton Goggins?
He is Cid from Final Fantasy XVI which mean he is the first Final Fantasy Cid on the MCU unless you count Chris Edgerly (Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Cid) as the Bi Beast and Hulkbuster in the Incredible Hulk video game tie in.
You’re forgetting John Malkovich’s most prestigious role: the lead scientist on Netflix’s Space Force. (Yes, nobody cares about that show, but it had such a weird energy and I loved the cast, so I have to bring it up.)
Molecule Man, maybe?
connects to the greater multiverse stuff and Secret Wars
Guys, Malcovich could voice HERBIE...that would be hilarious
I think it's Puppet Master, but Red Ghost would be amazing as well.
One of Malkovich's best roles is "Dangerous Liaisons" with Glenn Close and Michelle Pfeiffer!! If he plays Puppet Master (who has special radioactive clay to control people}, it would make sense, because they should have an Alicia in the story.
If Malkovich isn't Willie Lumpkin we riot!
He definitely has the ears for it
I know him from Diablo 4 as the narrator
I hope we get a Wendell Vaughn cameo. The quantum bands have been confirmed in The Marvels. Let's get Quasar. If I'm not mistaken, he was the doorman at the Baxter Building.
You gotta watch burn after reading for some great John Malkovich
I’ve seen your Baxter Building. I consume a planet a week!
I firmly believe John Malkovich has been cast as the Fantastic fours Russian villain the Red Ghost
Aaron Kyro as Galactus
I think Malkovich would be AMAZING as The Wizard.
he's at his best in the UK Office show
John malkovich mole man would be hilarious
Malkovich would be a terrific Red Ghost
How many villains is this movie gonna have Jesus christ
42 would have been a perfect Galactus
John Malkovich can play one of the Watchers
Also he played the character in the Original Office that Todd Packer from the US version was based on but was a lot more vile and more of a bully
