- We finally had a short break in the storms and were able to get out for a quick day hike snowshoe adventure. Kiki, Brian, and I head out to the Whites Creek area and snowshoe up to Dry Pond. I’ve only ever been to Dry Pond in the summer. It was nice to see those views under a blanket of snow!

You truly brought an unforgettable experience here. Something that I am very grateful to come across due to the fact that once I had a soul of an adventurous and unstoppable human that lost all of it by moving to the city and making wrong steps along the way. Finding this has become a little obsession, as all the memories, feelings, and moments of recognition have come out. Thank you for that because that's exactly what I needed. Sending you much love and may the hiking spirit be with you on your journeys. :)
This may be the single best comment I’ve ever received on one of my videos. Thanks for making my day a little brighter.
Beautiful! I’ve been missing the snow and not being able to get out snowshoeing. Not missing the shoveling 😂. Thanks for sharing!
Yeah shoveling isn’t my favorite haha. But it’s worth it when I get to get out and play.
I suppose there were humans in this video but all I saw was Kiki having much fun on her W, rolling around and enjoying the sun. Cheers, Paul from south east Australia 🇦🇺
Kiki loves the snow! She’d play in it all day long if that was an option.
Beautiful video with nice atmosphere🙌👌
Thank you so much!! It was so nice to be able to get out! This winter has been rough.
I have seen it on the news here in Denmark and it looks extreme!. Hope for you that it is over soon.
It been wild. Haha. Well over 200% of our normal snow pack.
Nice one Jim! Beautiful weather conditions, scenery, and atmosphere out there. Looks like a perfect day for a hiking adventure. And your pup looks so happy too ;)
Thanks for watching! Kiki loves the snow haha. She’d play in it all day if she could.
Looks like a great day out.
It was. I wish it could’ve been longer, but this winter I’ll take what I can get.
Beautiful day! Glad you got out!
Me too! Long over due!!
Glad you could get out. We’re stuck in one of those good ole north Texas ice storms. Can’t get outta the driveway.✌️
I imagine in Texas that’s a rough time haha. We at least have a ready fleet of snow plows etc. we get this almost every year.
What a beauty of a day for a hike. Glad you were able to make it out!
It was so nice. I’ve had cabin fever for weeks!
@@LostAgainwithJim me too my friend haha.
Beautiful! I just have to get out there myself and missed my opportunity this past weekend. With current temps as low as they are here in the Mitten, I'm sure it'll still be gorgeous this coming weekend.
We had a big storm the day after this hike. Over night low of 2° and the high the next day was only 17°
Nice to see what the trail looks like up there right now. I thought about doing Balardini Ranch to Thomas Creek this weekend, but I was afraid of what kind of snow I'd encounter on the BLM road. I ended up doing a short Peavine snow hike, the N to the R, the weather was very pleasant this weekend.
On Saturday at least...
Nice! The snow was pretty icy, but other than that it was a nice morning hike.
Jim, curious what kind of boots you use for snowshoeing.
Currently wearing the Mammut Duncan High GTX. But if I’m being honest, I don’t like them. They’re very narrow in the tow box and I get hot spots on my small toes every trip. They are warm, and waterproof, which is nice, just not very comfortable.
