CASTLE LEAP -THE MOST HAUNTED HOUSE IN IRELAND

In this short documentary, I discuss the history of Leap Castle, as well as its ghosts and its owners, and my observations from my visit some years back. Also included are extracts and thoughts by Edwardian writers and investigators, emphasising Mildred Darby, the last owner before its destruction by fire in 1922. Mildred was a well-known author who wrote about her experiences and observations at this haunted home and practised the occult.

I remember this castle from the show Castle Ghosts of Ireland and they described both the Elemental and the chapel where the oubliette is located. I recall they used the chapel for a christening which hinted the spirits were pleased with (though this is more my own interpretation of the show.)
