Has there ever been a more hopeful song written?
Summer is here (well, on our side of the equator anyway), and even here in the UK the sun is showing its face quite often these days.
This is a song we posted to the MLT Club a few years ago but never uploaded to our official CZcams channel. Until today :-)
We also released it on our album The Duo Sessions on which we recorded 15 songs (covers & originals), mostly done with just two voices, two guitars and the occasional percussion or blues harp.
We hope you'll enjoy our take on this George Harrison piece of sunshine.

I got home from the hospital yesterday. I had been fighting cancer for some time with every godawful treatment available to no end. The first oncology group had given up on me and basically told me to go home and prepare for my end. One of the local groups specializing in this had been helping me with this, and I had pretty much given up. A week or so I had collapsed and was taken to the hospital to deal with this. I was in for a week or so, and the amazing group at this particular hospital had brought me back to life, temporary as it seemed to me. A new group of oncologists studied me and told me that there was still hope. Today started out as a bit of a cloudy day, but as I was watching/listening to you the sun actually came out from the clouds and is now brightly shining.. I am ready to fight again.

Hello. I've been fighting this for two years or more now. I honestly believe that these girls and a couple of other CZcams channels keep me going. Check out the buskers in Dublin (DCT) and Emily Linge. Makes me cry a lot, but the music is worth it. All the very best to you.

These two young ladies are fantastic! I've been watching the Mona Lisa twins for about 5 years! They really pick me up when I need some joy and I want to hear outstanding music.
This is off of their first masterful "Duo Sessions" CD, with a follow-on in the works for release in 2023. Only half the songs or so from the first CD have made it to YT, so when Volume II comes out, do yourself a favor and get the CD or digital download of the whole set.
Ladies please do some live gigs in 2023 , I would really love to see you perform.
The Twins do an excellent cover of many, many Beatles songs.
Given their assumed age, it shows they had excellent parenting.
They perform without crazy, unrespectful versions(ala: Joe Cocker). Clean and well-rehearsed.
Their vocal harmonies blend like John, Paul, George, and Ringo.

Their "Bus Stop" Hollies cover was my discovery of them. Can't count how many "views" I've given that song personally, but everyone I know... knows about it.
Wow.. When I first heard this cover in the Duo sessions I thought... this George Harrison masterpiece now covered with the magical MLT touch.. looks amazing. Mona and Lisa's music always brings the sun to me.
I've been listening to the Twins' originals so much recently I'd almost forgotten how amazing their Beatles' covers are. For anyone hearing the MonaLisa Twins for the first time through this song, do yourself a favor and check out their YT channel. You'll be glad you did.

My Sunday just got better
Sometime in the Seventies, Easter Sunday, Guitar Mass, they pulled back the curtains and sunlight bathed the altar in a golden wash and the band launched into Here Comes The Sun! My best moment ever in church! I still love the song to this day. Good job bringing back the memories, Twins!

I'm a 75-year-old hillbilly in Eastern KY who played the streets of Vienna and other cities across Europe away back in the '80's (old time mountain Bluegrass) and it just tickles me to death to have discovered you two.
