@@mknight8272 I guess my comment is a bit confusing, I meant that Star Platinum was the classic OP shonen type of stand so I agree with what you said. Star Platinum was created to be OP just because he had to be OP, but I think it developed much better and got more interesting since Part 4 where Jotaro started using a bit more thinking and planning

Araki probably learned in Part 5 that giving the protagonist a complex and confusing stand like Gold Experience was a bad idea since a lot of their abilities would feel like asspulls if the limitations of the power are not made clear and that protagonists should have limited and well defined abilities like Stone Free or Sticky Fingers(which feels more like a protagonist stand than Gold Experience).
Gold Experience was really not that complicated. Turn inanimate objects into plants and critters in its simplest form. But I do agree its ability was so broad that it almost gave too much freedom.
He also gave gold experience a bunch of “extra” abilities which were needlessly introduced once and then never used again, like the life infusion and reflect damage ones.
@@bendavidson1210 Probably the reason why Johnny has "acts" similar to Koichi. When you think about it, Gold Experience should've done that as well since each the power of each acts functions depending on the acts used independently

Stone Free is one of my favorite stands and I'm glad the community is showing it love. Jolyne is one of the most skilled stand users we get to see in Jojo tbh.

People like to bring up how they miss hand to hand fights from parts 1 & 2, then ignore Stone Ocean.
Like, this entire part is people getting the absolute hell beaten out of them.
That's why I love jolyne, she's a badass who uses her stand in a smart way but also just uses it to fight in close combat, where her abilities shine

I love how the fact that she can almost do anything with her stand like shield, rope, bridge, temporary to close her wounds, a string that can go through her enemy's body, a string that can scattered to use as a navigation.

But other than that, since jolyne was seen *successful* in *some* of those fight scenes at 2:29, 3:16, 4:36 *and* at 6:04, for jolyne *so* hot and sexy that she deserves to be STRONGER and MIGHTIER than ALL her enemies in battle.👊💀😍
