  • The kit I used is Air Lift 60844. This kit fits a wide range of older GM vehicles. It can be purchased on Ebay, Jegs and other websites.

    I like the idea. It pained me to watch you drill into the body for the air line fitting. We used to put them behind the license plate with air shocks back in the day.

      Ya, I was debating whether I should drill the holes into the body. Decided to do it cuz no one is going to see it. It’s hidden real nicely. I do remember putting air shocks on my Camaro in the late 80’s!

    Get coil over shock absorber and heavy duty coil springs so it last

      Ya, that would be the proper way to upgrade, but it is quite expensive. This is more of a touring car, so I opt for a less expensive option. The Airlift cost me under $100, while coil-over will cost over $1k. Now, If this is a track car, I totally agreed!
