My favorite version of "Mariah" was the rendition on "The Best of Joe & Eddie" album. I sure hope someone uploads the entire contents of that entire album someday before I die.
I found the album in a discount "cut out" bin in 1967. Regrettably, had to leave it behind in Fairbanks, AK in Spring 1970 as Uncle Sam had recently sent a letter saying that I needed to present my butt at Seattle for a draft physical. Unfortunately, there was not enough room in the backpack I wore on the hitchhiking trip down the Alcan to carry such treasures. The trip produced its own memories.
