Greener Living Shortlisted Films | GSFA 2023

Awarded to the film under 25 minutes that best inspires to adopt nature-based solutions to mitigate the threat of climate change and biodiversity loss. For example, by protecting and restoring forests, wetlands and coastal ecosystems through varied means like, focusing on sustainable agriculture, promoting behavioural change to reduce plastic use or carbon emissions, or how a company has changed their core business to become more sustainable, by reducing their carbon emissions, eliminating (plastic) waste, going eco-friendly, developing sustainable and environment-friendly products or reducing their impact on biodiversity. This includes the film that highlights transition and benefits of clean power, which otherwise alone accounts for 1/4th of global greenhouse emissions. The film could motivate people to use environmentally friendly transportation facilities- public transport, cycling, car pooling, electric vehicles. The films will be judged on the quality of the storytelling.
