Digital Technology & AI Film Award Category: Awarded to the film under 15 minutes that best explains how the revolution in Digital Technology and advancements in AI are helping us meet pressing global sustainability challenges of today. Emergence of AI is shaping an increasing range of sectors. For instance, positive affect on global productivity, equality and inclusion, sustainable development among others. The films can demonstrate how AI may act as an enabler for all the SDG targets by supporting the provision of food, health, water, and energy services to the population. It can also underpin low-carbon systems, for instance, by supporting the creation of circular economies and smart cities that efficiently use their resources. AI & digital technology can enable smart and low-carbon cities encompassing a range of interconnected technologies such as electrical autonomous vehicles and smart appliances that can enable demand response in the electricity sector. The films will be judged on the quality of its storytelling.
