I'm not shocked you're making another one to wear and keep your other one safe. I'd do the exact same thing if I had that kind of suit. I'd also want one to just be a permanent display to marvel at. I'd still love to print a proper replica RoboCop suit like you've done. It will happen some day. For now, I'll just follow this. It will be fun to see it done again through you. Keep it up. :D
Yeah i'm too nervous to wear my finished suit to a con....each scratch and any damage taken would just hurt too much, so yah it's just going to stay permanently displayed. I hope you get the itch to take on this daunting project haha I know you'd create a masterpiece. Thanks for watching sir and I appreciate the support!
Man I appreciate someone that has such a passion for this ! Making a classic Robocop suit! Keep it up Chris. I will be waiting for your next videos. I also want to thank you for taking the time of making these videos. It helps a ton for someone like me who is also a Robocop fan. I am thinking of buying a printer and start this journey too.
Mate, I stumbled upon your channel by chance and I’m glad I did! Your work is absolutely awesome, I love the original Robocop and I thought you nailed it with the audio effects! I look forward to the progress. Thank you.
In a way, I am glad you are making another Robo suit. I will get back to you at some point in herms of the rubber midsection since I need another one to fit and replace the one I am currently using.
I also want to mention I really like the bloodsport song in the outtakes of the videos. Although I don't know whats going on there with the wrestling and other stuff Lol. Cool stuff
@@ChrisBoshProps Ok I see. Multi talented. Kudos man. I susbcribed to your channel and looking forward for more videos. I want to learn to do a Robocop suit.
This is so exciting! I watched all your previous videos and I'm interested to see the different tips/tricks you use this time around to create a wearable version of the suit.
@@ChrisBoshProps I noticed darthasen pulled his Robocop 3D model from the Cults3D page so I checked your link in the video description and it doesn't work either. Do you by chance know why the model has been removed?
@@russoj277 I think he was having copyright claim issues with Cults3D where they were sending him cease and desist claims on his files so he either pulled them or they were taken off but not entirely sure. The files are still on CGtrader though and I have them linked in my new helmet video. Hope that helps and I'll try to get the links updated on this video soon.
i am really looking forward for the rest of the videos :D i just wondered why don't you make mold from the entire suit you already have in your room and cast that in hard plastic?
I wish it was that easy. It would cost me probably 1500-2000 for just materials to mold and cast the suit. When it only took me a couple hundred or less for the filament to print one. It's going to take me several months to build the 3d printed suit but it would also take me several months to mold and cast everything. I chose the much lesser of two evils. Thanks for commenting and watching!
I don't I'm sorry! Material is just way too expensive at the moment and I'm swamped with projects. I appreciate your interest and your recent comments!
I didn't scale anything on the build except the shoulder rings and the leg pistons. Everything fit me at 6ft 185lbs. You could use armorsmith to help scaling for your particular body to better help with comfort. The suit will not be comfortable when wearing and some pieces will be more snug then others.
I'm not sure if you purchased the same files but these files the armor pieces are not very thick and are rather on the thin side. I didn't have to scale the major armor pieces at all, they fit my body shape just fine. If you've seen my previous video I've worn my previous suit with the same files with no problems. So I'm not really sure if you have the same files. The ones I used are on CGtrader and are made by Twonightscinema.
The armor is the same... I took the model from that artist... for now I've only printed a foot, and I'm about to finish the calf... we'll see!!! Thanks anyway, if I complete it I will be the first Italian Robocop done properly!!!
Do you think you can sell the gloves and undersuit chingaurds in urethane rubber at any point because some of who are building a suit could really use those

how do u cut the hollow shoulder fiiles in netfabb, everytime i try it cuts it but when i export stl it makes it into a solid and its no longer hollow in cura. please help
I just cut them up in I think 4 or 5 pieces horizontally and saved each files. I never ran into the issues you mentioned. I use Simplify3D as my slicer though. Make sure to export as Stl Binary.
They are way off accurate wise. The overall shape and just aesthetic of the suit is just not very movie accurate, lots of missing details too many to name here. The files I use from Twonightscinema on CGTrader are way more movie accurate and look like a Robocop suit out of the movie when properly finished.
@@ChrisBoshProps cool I emailed you about the visor as well, well damn guess I will scrap those files and go with your recommendation, can't print all that and have it be way off haha
@@ChrisBoshProps I went to cg trader and looked at his robo suit , it looks like the finish print has all kinds of shape patterns all over it , is that how's yours printed or was yours much smoother without the shapes all over it
@@josesharks20 That's normal it's just the low poly areas of the armor. You'll have to fill and build those areas with filler primer and bondo spot putty till they are smooth to your liking. The more smooth and higher poly (more triangles) the larger the file size is of the armor and it becomes harder to slice them in your software.

No sir nothing for sale at the moment.
Would like to know the price point for this suit please. Great work!

Printing mine now and was curious if you scaled the calf, thigh or feet? My calf sections are tight and the ankle is rubbing pretty good.

could you please make a video on how you scaled this suit to fit your body
Out of curiosity, what material are you using to print? PLA, ABS, etc
PLA+ by Sunlu has good heat resistance.
would you be willing to sell a cast of the rubber torso at all ?
Not at the moment sir...maybe in the future.

3d printer brand Q
I used a Creality Cr10 but there are better and more updated versions. Creality CR10S pro V2 would be a better updated printer.
