This was a complete accident and I originally intended on filming so many more things with the car, but this was a great lesson to do even more crazy things before your car catches on fire. @@thebusbums2825 Not the brakes, the hot exhaust runs through the entire bottom of the vehicle. It's why all the fires started from under the cars. Ferrari is rear engined, hence why the fire was at the rear. The hot exhaust hangs low enough to light that dried out corn field like a box of matches.

Not crazy at all. I would of expected it in that old dried up dusty ass field knowing he was probably pushing that car before that an that engine was probably smoking hot an the breaks was probably hot. It was bound to happen when the dried plant an plant dust started to build.
Also it’s a video. Who’s to say one didn’t have a wireless igniter not shown an even known by the others. Chance it really just happened. It’s not the first time vehicles have caught fields on fire just like that.

fyi, all ferraris have a fire extinguisher strapped to the passenger floorboard. They either didn't grab it on purpose, or didn't grab it while they panicked.
Not sure a single extinguisher woul've helped. Problem was the flammable dry plant material and superhot engine/brakes. Driving them off field semi burning would have maybe saved something.

yeah... those radiators were clogged with field debris in seconds. no wonder the thing went up in flames. its like a pool skimmer basket thats full, it just suctions onto itself. you can even see it completely covering the vent holes.
as an ASE approved automotive technician, its insane to me that they didnt see that fire hazard and NOT have a fire extinguisher on hand. if i was there i would of told them to stop the car as soon as those vents were suctioned closed by dry tender field debris. makes me think it was slightly intentional.

I think I know exactly what happened. During the scene before it caught on fire, there was too much dead weed covering the grill where air could cool fluid which would cool down the engine. With the grill blocked, the entire engine overheated. That's a bummer

To those saying it's the first time they see him serious/worried: All this fun is probably based on loans and credits, and that Ferrari was most likely never meant to be destroyed for real. What he calls "destroyed" means superficially damaged but in a way you could easily replace parts and resell it. And the views would pay for the difference. But now the Ferrari is gone for real, and that's a financial problem. That's why he looked worried I guess.
You don't understand content creation if you believe this was an accident. Accidents like this don't happen. This was carefully planned and executed for the entertainment of millions of people. And it WAS very entertaining, but it wasn't real.
