Duesseldorf Altstadt die längste Theke der Welt ..... the longest bar in the world is the nickname for the Old Town in Düsseldorf. I lived there for 4 months so I got to know it quite well including the 5 Irish Pubs at the time. Always a great atmosphere.👍
At first, when I read the title of the video, I thought that something bad had happened that I should have been ashamed of as a German. But, much to my relief, that wasn't the case. They perceived our country pleasantly, and I also have this claim towards my country.🙏🤓💝 If I ever get the chance to travel to Scotland, I certainly won't do so without visiting a Scottish pub. Maybe you can find one near "The Old Man of Storr" - you simply have to see it! I would also love to see the Scottish coastline - especially Neist Point Lighthouse, Glendale, Isle Of Skye. At the opening ceremony, a German CZcamsr dressed up as a bear mascot and managed to trick the security forces - he stood right on the pitch - during the opening ceremony. This shows how seriously UEFA takes its own security concepts. 😠 We remember: You can also fly into the Allianz Arena with a parachute, then make a 45° turn over the stands, mow down a few lamps and spectators and then crash land! The whole thing went back to an action by Greenpeace a few years ago... So the concerns I expressed above have some justification. Fortunately, no one has really exploited these UEFA security issues for violent purposes. And yes; peace, joy and friendship - and of course soccer...🤗⚽🍺🏆😋
Enjoy the Kolsch beer in Koln Kev. BTW, the stadium is a long way from city centre - you'll need a bus / local train etc. There's a big park near the stadium, but not a lot else. Personally if there's 3 or 4 of you (or more) try to book return taxi / uber from the city centre. There's some beer halls near the train station and the cathedral, and id guess that's where the fan park is likely to be too. (Some England fans were waiting till 3am for public transport after their game, as all the earlier trains were full) Hope you enjoy, and hope you get a result too.
the scots are going to be bummed when they see cologne being used to dusseldorf the last few days... but luckily for them, they wont have to stay in that "city" for long
