The UCI Mountain Bike World Series unites mountain bike’s major formats under a single brand for the first time. The new UCI Mountain Bike World Series includes the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup for Cross-country Olympic (XCO), Cross-country Short Track (XCC), Cross-country Marathon (XCM), Downhill (DHI), Enduro (EDR) and E-enduro (E-EDR).

Yeah dude. UCI made a bad move. Lame broadcast now makes it a lame product.
Of course we can give them time to get better but as it is now, it is a step down from my point of view.
Honestly production team... take a look at the Vital Raw videos. These are the bits of the track the fans love. The woods, the stumps... no one really cares about the drone footage down the motorway. Then to present these incredible runs in this highlight video in such a boring way - its such a shame. You're really underselling what has been a brilliant start to the season.
I get that they don’t want to show much to encourage subscriptions but even the commentary told us who’d won before anything happened. So watching even these pitiful highlights has absolutely 0 excitement factor

Clearly done on purpose to make people pay the subscription instead. It's a disaster and they are making theirselves look even worse than they already are.
I won't pay anything, there are so many ads already in the championship itself, brands showing themselves, and you still have to pay to watch, it's paying to watch ads

You know what's bullcrap. The enduro which I love too don't get me wrong gets 25min highlights and we are here for the downhill video and only 3mins!!!!!!! 3 bloody minute of highlights what the hell!

This is just terrible. Absolutely no passion or excitement from the commentator, not even commentating on what’s happening in the run! Bro really said in the most monotone voice possible “and it was that bobble out of the woods” and nothing else for Jackson Goldstone’s mistake toward the bottom that may have cost him the win. Warner would have been screaming with excitement and explaining what is happening! Not even worth buying a subscription

Showing the winning run first isn't what I would call 'highlights'. At least the women's highlights built up to the winning run.

Where is the full replay? With Red Bull we could watch the entire race over. Strange highlights as well. Why do they show us the winner, then 3rd place Goldstone and then Bruni? Weird way to do the highlights.

UCI is destroying the popularity of Downhill making people pay to watch the finals, all this qualify and semi final is pathetic, and many other changes are completely useless and nonsense.
I race DH since 99 where we wait for Eurosport images of races, than the amazing transmission of Freecaster, than the wonderful RedBull transmission with the virtual straight and many others information, than UCI throu Downhill racing into a terrible road bike APP, what? UCI I never liked you and know I hate you more than ever!
I also have a problem of it being thrown together with other disciplines. I have shortage of time and would like to see DH finals or a recap of it, and a recap of Enduro or some specific riders if I could know when. I don’t have time to sift through a lot of other stuff too and that’s why I mostly don’t watch it at all as it is now.
UCI, you need to make it clear what we can expect if we pay to view. Well, I guess what’s pretty clear now is that you don’t help us with this if we are paying, so I’ll wait until that time comes. Looking forward to it though!

What a rubbish 'highlights' who starts with the winner but doesn't explain when he rode in relation to the rest? No mention of anyone close but mistake costing them etc.
That was the steeziest race finish I've ever seen.
Clearly put out a really crappy edit which spoils any build up instantly on purpose to make people pay for the race coverage. UCI and EWS need to stop with this 'profit or nothing' attitude and start focusing on attracting new racers rather than alienating them.
I Think the BIG brands or going to look at this and go's....you know what..The ATHERTON bikes in Men and Women is becoming a real pain..

I even bought Discovery+ to try and watch the full LIVE replay, can't even search for it on Discovery+, no replay nothing. Pretty terrible coverage and highlight reel. And once again they fucked up and put the winner in the thumbnail. LOL

Oh good now DH has been ruined by the same team that ruined EWS coverage. I get the subscription through my TV package luckily so don't pay anything extra for it but its so poor I don't watch it. DH racing is now coverage of practice followed by looking at a spreadsheet after the race. Might as well put it on teletext.

How is this highlights? It’s not even the best part of the course. I understand the whole make people want to pay more by not showing them finals, but the highlights don’t even highlight the best part of the runs. It should called “three podium finishers at leogang cross the finish line”

These highlights are terrible. I was hoping for at least a 20-30min highlights show of each event. You neither showed or even gave any kind of account of the day, you hardly showed any of the track and condensed it down to a few shots of the best 3 runs. I know you're hoping to get subs but they're quite expensive for the casual fan. People will just end up losing interest in the sport. Bring back Red Bull TV. This isn't anywhere near as good as what they provided for free.
Lame broadcast now makes bikes a lame sport product. It wasnt that way till last year.
