A devastating scene in downtown Seoul on Monday night,
when a car drove into a group of pedestrians waiting at a crosswalk.
Police say 9 people were killed
and 4 others were injured in the accident
near Seoul City Hall at around 9:27 PM.
The driver, a 68-year-old man,
is blaming sudden unintended acceleration for the accident.
The vehicle was also seen driving in the wrong direction,
