I bought mine last week and im impressed with the bass but it could be louder... especially with the highs. But overall,,great speaker. This is my 4th JBL speaker in their speaker line and i continue to be satisfied AND IMPRESSED with JBL. A major major MAJOR GO!!
Yeah that’s one thing I don’t like about the jbl Partybox 100 the highs don’t sound as clear as a jbl charge highs but it’s still a great portable powerful speaker

I bought two of this PartyBox 100. You want the best sound buy two. I also bought two stands for these speakers and let me tell you. This is the best way to set them up for any party.
Some people reported problems in TWS-mode. One speaker playing louder than the other and flaws in L - R separation. Can you confirm that?

Just saying you don't have to use two of them like that. If your phone has Bluetooth 5.0 you can connect to both speakers at the same time and it'll work just fine

Do all the wireless speakers you review still work while plug in . Or do I have to charge them up first . (Stupid question ) but i had little sony speakers if I try listen to music while plug in, It will just run the battery down no matter what

How is the delay from the AUX-in to speaker actually outputting the sound?
If for instance you use it in DJ'ing and want to beatmix from mixer with headphones to the sound coming through the speaker(s).
I had a 300 for testing last summer and that had a big DSP lag that couldn't be resolved even with a FW update from HK/JBL support. I got the Aiwa exos 9 after that and there is NO input delay. The usability of this exos 9 model for out door partying sets is not that good. So now I've got the X8 on the way ordered from indiegogo. But the sound of this party box 100 is so far reviewed to be better in comparison to X8.
Always trying to optimize my DJ-gear for maximum portability&bigger sound :)

I just purchased a pair of them from Amazon and it was actually cheaper at Best Buy. I took the one from BB home today and to be honest when I first fired it up I was disappointed. Then it charged all the way up and out of no where the BASS just came. I believe the drivers needed to warm up and break in. My 2nd one comes in the mail with my Rockville stands in 2days. I know I will be very very happy. Thanks Floss dawg for your review. 2 100’s are good enough. No need for the 3’s and forget the 2’s.

If the battery is dead, will this model let you play it on high volume while plugged in charging or you have to wait till it fully charges first?
Picked one of these up a month or 2 back. I absolutely love it. Sound quality is freakin awesome. Lights are pretty sweet. Waterproofing or water resistance would've been nice. Battery life could be a little better, but it's good enough for what I need it to do. I also love how you can run a mic or a guitar into it. I'd give it a 9.5 outta 10.

@@410ab I haven't heard the 200 but according to JBL website both have the same amount of power in watts (120watt continues watts) I have read and saw a lot of reviews and details about these two
So the conclusion is that both speakers reach the same amount of volume the only difference is that 200 has one more tweeter (3 in total) while 100 have only 2

@@youngaspi I connect direclty to AC Power 100V-240V to charge it. You can see the voltage required to charge behind the partybox above the sound ports. There should be a label. If that's what you mean. If you live inside the EU you 14 days to return the product for a full refund or change it with a new one
Can this speaker be used whilst plugged in, as is the case with the Partybox 200? Or is it battery only, requiring a charge up between uses?
I got this speaker shipped yesterday to my place and I had it plugged in while I was listening to it. Charge it when you need to otherwise unplug it to prolong batteries life.

Thanx for the review, was helpful in making the decision to purchase .. We have 2 PartyBox 100 units... Unable to gain the answer to this question about pairing. When Pairing the 2 units, we have volume, lighting, music all being shared /paied .. The one thing we cannot do, is plug in microphone in one unit and have the audio heard through both speakers at the same time - has anyone come up with a wireless solution?
