SNOW RETURNS to a Wintery Ribblehead Class 70 66 &158 08 02 2024

Well they forecast some snow Today for the Northern Fells and it certainly was a wild and windy day with loads of the white stuff, minus Degrees out there with a severe wind chill . Filmerd Class 70 and Class 66 and a 158 Dmu, that was cold enough for me home for Dinner, look out for some Steam on saturday, Hopefully tangmere out again .

Yes it was a bit grim at times with that cold wind, for 1day only, so had to go and film, thanks Steve .

I would expect it to snow up there. I used to work up there from time to time. The weather is so changeable. That was a interesting video. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Only mad dogs and Yorkshiremen go out in the midday blizzard. Hope you got back to the village safely.
Two trains from Ribblehead sidings next week that i know about if you're wanting to film again (Weds & Thu).

Great capture Steve of the snowy weather on Thursday, you did very well.
I had a cheap train ticket from Leeds on this day but I didn't want to spend four hours on that station in that weather to see very little freight workings.
So I went to London.

It was cold in that bitter wind, but as you say the station looks great in white, but you couldn'd see very far, cheers .
