Ah nostalgia. There's this time on every DDR player's life when you think that you can never complete the MAX series, but as time goes on and you practice more, you'd surprise yourself on what you are able to do.
I always feared the Max series of songs. Whenever I saw my character jumping around on the screen like their feet was on fire, I knew I was in for some hell.
Maxx Unlimited was actually the hardest Max song among Max 300 and LOM on the series back in DDR Extreme (not including PSMO). I mean those were actually the most balance and fun charts played.
I seriously actually laughed out loud when I saw this. You obviously have never played/heard Max 300 especially since in the first 3 seconds you hear the famous Max 300 sound. Maybe the entire community of ddr/itg is wrong in that this song isnt a remix especially since they dont sound the same at all. PS Pluto Relinquish, Paranoia Hades, Trigger, HDVO, FELMO, Dead End groove radar, chaos, and possibly NGO are ddr songs that much harder than max. period and faxx
honestly, when you play songs, it can look a lot slower depending on how well you know the song. If you know the song's speed and tempo and all that, it might not look fast anymore.
well, the worst thing about trying to beat this song the first time is all the packed airs in the song. Training to immediatly going into step-jump would be helpful in the beginning and ending streams. Also, be sure to get a good footwork going because most of the song, let alone no part of it, will not make you double step
This and The Legend of Max still usually kill me. Max 300 definitely is the easiest in the Max series, it's one of the first 10-footers I managed to beat, after Sakura and Xepher.
I usually play that song at x1.5 (honest) and I do very well , no boos or almosts, until the part at 1:29 then I fuck up. I practice that song a lot.... most just comes from random isnsinct lest I mess up
Umm how does that establish that he IS using a controller? So what? I mean doing jumps on Maxx Unlimited isn't really that hard on the pad. Hell I barely passed this song one time.

I started playing when I was 9, I slowed down the songs and tried to memorize the best foot patterns to use. That's how I got really good ^^ I remember when I couldn't even pass a single song!
God, I used to be a master at this game, and I could barely beat this song on Beginner. I cleared all the other songs on Heavy, but I just couldn't do this one.
it's stepmania with dancers and the ddr max theme fake cuz he had a combo of 18 1:07 and then it end up 20 on the real ddr game that doesn't count that
