If you ever get to experience a high end crt you should try it, it's very smooth and sharp. A 1080p crt is way more crisp than a 4k oled monitor. Also higher end crts can display 120hz at 800x600 resolution
Correction to this, they're not as sharp as a 4k oled, they're *softer*, wrong word.

Damn, son. Your video came at the right fricking time, as I've sealed the deal on a 36" Sony Trinitron HD that I'm pick up Saturday. I had the reverse of RCA to HDMI for some old camcorders/Pre-Camcorders to which some are older than me. But now I wanna try Valorant on it with that upscaler. Considering I saw the game apparently supports 5:4 aspect ration, of which I still had two monitors from way back in the day in the early 2000s when I went balling Dual Monitor Setup!
...and they letter boxed my 5:4 monitors, that they were supposedly to support, but naw, they just letter box the 'Widescreen' monitors of the day, that are now standard.
That's if I don't throw my back out, because this television weighs as much as me, and thank god I have someone willing to help me move it from the current owners location.

Never ever use a DAC like that. It processes the image incorrectly.
